We used it for diving around 20 metres deep and the case worked perfectly. –

Good Enough?
This product is hard to rate.For my purposes – some protection for my Hero 9 on my bike as I primarily ride road and gravel in various kinds of weather – it’s *more* than sufficient, and the price is – by comparison to the official product – absolutely stellar. Based on that criteria, I would give this product 5 stars.HOWEVER, this housing is *no where* near the quality of an OEM dive housing, and I GRAVELY doubt the depth rating the manufacturer puts on it. Put another way, if I were still regularly diving, this is *not* the housing I would recommend.I’m giving this 4 stars to try to strike a balance – but depending on your use case, this is probably a product to avoid.

Fits camera perfectly and easy to secure.
Just upgraded to a newer version gopro and needed a new water protection case even though this camera is “water proof”. This case was a great value and it worked perfectly for the purpose. Dove over 70 feet and the camera worked as expected. The case is easy to use and functions as described.

product arrived on time , does exactly what it says , waterproof case for my go pro 10 , actually wider/bigger area at back of housing then go pro underwater housing case , so seems easier to see screen on the back.and a third of the price.Use it mainly for shooting underwater photos /video up to a depth of 10m on a daily basis 2/3dives a dayso far so good

The housing is incredibly easy to use and figure out without even using the instructions. I have one of those doors that allow a USB cable to bypass the door to charge the battery directly, but that has to be taken out and original door replaced so it fits. Other than that, so far so good. I’ll be testing this in Costa Rica, so wish me luck that I come back with some footage and a dry GoPro after all is said and done. This comes with dessicants that can help with fog, so we’ll also see if those packets work. 5 stars for now.

It works flawlessly
The go pro 11 fits perfectly in it and it comes with reusable moisture patches, which are great to prevent fogging. The lens is made of glass which makes it hard to scratch. I tested it in the swimming pool and no troubles at all. The real test will be done in a couple of weeks at 20-30m deep in the sea, but given the spring tension and low internal “free” volume with the camera in, I’m not expecting for any surprises.The only downside is the closing door type mechanism. It is important to put extra attention in inspecting the o-ring, especially in the side where the door is attached, to prevent flooding. I didn’t have any problems, but I’m a well rounded underwater photographer (I pay attention to these details).It would be a much better housing if the lid was attached to the body through 2 latches, but then, the housing walls would have to be much thicker and the housing would be quite more expensive…For $30CAD, and given that it’s a sturdier clone of the original, it’s more than perfect!If I experience any flooding, I’ll edit this review in 3-4 weeks.
