Shipping & Delivery

All deliveries for orders placed through Event Technology Portal are coordinated by our team. You will never be left to arrange logistics on your own.


Shipping costs

Shipping is either included in your quote (delivered to your door) or quoted as a separate line item. We will always confirm the full landed cost — equipment plus delivery — before you pay. There will be no surprise shipping charges added after payment.

Estimated delivery timescales

The following are general guides. Your confirmed lead time will always be stated in your quote. Always include your event date when submitting a request — we will flag if the lead time is tight and explore faster options where available.

  • In-stock domestic orders: 3–7 business days
  • In-stock international orders: 7–21 business days
  • Made-to-order or custom equipment: 4–12 weeks
  • Large freight (LED walls, staging, trussing systems): timescale agreed per order

Specialist freight

Professional event equipment often requires specialist handling — flightcase delivery, liftgate trucks, or white-glove installation. Where this applies, we will discuss logistics options as part of the quote process and ensure the right method is used. Specialist freight costs will be clearly itemised in your quote.


International shipping & import duties

For cross-border orders, import duties, customs fees, and destination taxes are not included in your quote unless explicitly stated as delivered duty paid. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility upon arrival in the destination country.

We recommend checking with your local customs authority or a freight forwarder for an estimate before placing large international orders.


Order tracking

Once your order is dispatched, we will send you tracking information. For large freight shipments, we will provide supplier dispatch documentation and freight reference numbers. Please ensure your delivery contact details and any access requirements (loading bay, forklift, etc.) are included at the time of ordering.


Damaged or missing goods

If goods arrive damaged or items are missing:

  • Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Photograph all packaging and the affected items immediately
  • Contact us at hello@eventtechnology.org within 24 hours of receipt
  • Retain all original packaging until the claim is resolved
