Audio Mixer
An audio mixer is a device that allows you to adjust the volume and tone of multiple audio signals and mix them together to create a final audio output. Audio mixers are commonly used in a variety of settings, including music recording and live sound reinforcement, as well as in television and radio broadcasting. They typically have a number of channels, each of which can be used to control the audio from a separate sound source, and a number of control knobs, faders, and buttons for adjusting the volume and tone of each channel. Some audio mixers also have built-in effects processors, such as reverb or delay, which can be used to further shape the sound of the audio signals. Mixers can be analog or digital, and can range in size from compact units that can be carried in a bag to large-format desks with multiple layers of controls.
