Incredible fog but 1 huge draw back…This thing does what it claims. I mean it’s incredible. The problem specific to my shows are that the 30 minute warm up time is unacceptable. It has a dual warming circuit which you can connect to a 20amp outlet – but it is still painfully slow to get to ‘critical mass’.That being said you can easily cover just about any high school stage in less than 30 seconds with 2 of these. You can do 1 in a budget pinch, and use a fan – it’s just not as dramatic.Essentially the design is to get about 4 gallons of water to a boil, open the top, dump in about 10 pounds of dry ice (pellets are best) then drop the ‘fry’ basket handle on the side. The output is modulated by how deep you drop the basket.

show me a better deal or shout upThis machine does exactly what is promising to do. People complaining about high price, show me a better deal or shout up. I heat up the machine for 1 hour and use 12 KG of dry ice. Instant WOW. Add to it snow effect and you are in heaven.

Very good dry ice foggerPurchased this machine to use on large stage productions. With each 10 lbs of dry ice we get a significant layer of deck fog. Our stage is 48′ wide and 36′ deep. The machine will bellow a layer of low fog which will quickly cover 1/2 the stage. As the fog approaches the orchestra pit it thins out to just a thin wisp. Looks awesome. Recovery time on the hot water is reasonable, and we can get a second drop within 15 minutes. The hotter the water, the more effective the fog machine works. We are going to purchase a 2nd machine so that we can cover our deck for a longer period of time.

Very expensive for what you get.Very expensive for what you get. Basically just a bucket with a heating element.

Great for ballet performances. Lots of fog for a small amount of time.If you follow directions and fill it up to the correct water line it does turn on and heat up (about 30 min with two power plugs, 60 min with just one). It will put out a lot of fog in short amount of time. But the cold dry ice cools off the hot water fast so using it twice quickly is not an option. This thing is really expensive. And it doesn’t come with the nimbus cart for rolling it around. For almost a grand they should throw the cart in as part of the package.
