Good value but too dependent on the remote and the lights are kind of useless

For the price I think it’s a great value. But it’s not perfect.I used it to give the effect of a volcano erupting. I think it did pretty well even though I had it in a tight cardboard box at an angle and I just cut a hole at the top for the smoke to escape. I made my own fog liquid with vegetable glycerin (belle chemical medical grade which was the cheapest i could find + poland springs distilled water), and the fog was very thick and rose above the house making it look like the house was burning down. I forgot to take any video in use unfortunately. The first thing I noticed was the back panel where everything plugs in is not flush and you can see the circuit board through the gap. It also moves a lot when you plug/unplug. So that was an immediate sign that the quality was not top-notch. But otherwise it feels pretty sturdy and solid metal. The other issue is that you have to press the button for the smoke to work (rather than have a timer function or a smart switch). The remote feels plasticky and cheap but has good range. Also you can’t just keep using it continuously as I assume it is either overheating or needing to heat up more liquid. If you need perfect timing and your smoke on cue I wouldn’t suggest this.

its a smoke machine, not a fog machine
as far as “smoke” machines go, this works really good for a small footprint compact unit. But if you are hoping for low-lying “fog” like you would see with dry ice, this machine will not do it (and neither would any other machine in this price range). These small low cost machines vaporize your fog juice with heat (no ultrasonics, no cooling). So the “fog” they create immediately dissipates into the room, and just makes the air hazy.

Based on internet reviews, one of the best fog machines
I did quite a bit of research before buying this unit. On several websites I visited, this brand and model number was listed in the top five for its price point. At the time I bought this, you could by the unit with, or without, lights. I opted for the lights thinking it would be really cool with the fog/mist. As is turns out, it wasn’t really worth the additional cost. The lights simply turn on, or off. They don’t blink, they don’t change colors, they don’t fade, nothing. There’s one red, blue, and green light. If I were to buy this unit again, I would save a few bucks and get the one without the LED lights. The unit comes with two remote controls; one wired, one wireless. The wired remote MUST be plugged into the fogger for the wireless remote to work. I simply kept the wired remoted coiled up, with a twisty-tie, hidden behind the unit, and used the wireless remote to turn the fogger on and off. As the instructions say, it’s good for up to about 50′ of unobstructed interference. This seemed to be the case and was perfect for my application.

Great little machine. Simple assembly and easy operation.
I ordered this fog machine as a last minute idea to have going in my yard along with spooky music for the neighborhood Halloween trick-or-treaters. I was getting concerned when it hadn’t been delivered by late in the day, but it arrived just in time. It was very simple to attach the handle and from there you connect the power cord and wired remote, pour in the fog chemical (I also ordered and added cotton candy scent to make it smell festive. I turned it on, waited for it to show the green indicator, pressed the button and voila!… there was a nice thick cloud being produced by this simple little machine. On the wired remote you’ve got to hold the button down to produce the fog. With the wireless remote, however, you can set it to go continuously. Which it will until it needs to heat back up. But in about a minute you’re good to go again.I do think I’ll look for some solutions that will produce a heavier fog that would stay more low lying. Not sure if that’s out there, but I’m gonna look. The lights are controlled by a switch on the back of the machine. They stay on constant when you turn them on, you’ll need to manually turn them off again if you don’t want them. They do give a cool effect through the fog.I’ve had several trick-or treaters already and they’re digging it. Several parents have made some great comments as well. My neighbor, who decorates elaborately asked what I had over here. I’m sure next year he’ll have one as well. lolEven though I’ve only owned this little machine for a few hours, I would recommend it for things like Halloween, house parties, etc. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how it will look in my pool area. Could make for some fun!Oh, and the cotton candy fragrance additive is great. Smells like we’re at a haunted Circus! 🎪

fun toy
My love of Halloween, and my Husbands love of fun combined into this purchase. First off, he went to Home depot and bought some fog fluid. Cheap. Fill the tank, easy, plug in the unit, easy, turn on … easy. WAIT… that was the hard part. just a few minutes while the machine warmed up, but it was a long wait as the kid inside of us dreamed up the scenarios that could happen. then…. finally, push the button. It takes a minute, but plenty of fog. It is more like smoke at first, because it had a very large double office to fill. but after about 10 minutes, there was a haze in the main office. It was set up in the back office. One of my customers came in and noticed the haze first, then we noticed it. Then, after about 25 minutes, we had to shut it down…. it was foggy. So the next time out assistant works, we have a plan to set up up in the back office again, and just pump it all out. Just to see how fast she reacts. Only wish the lights were programable, or color changing… that would double the fun.

Worth It
I ordered this product this year for Halloween and it didnt disappoint for the price point. The order came fast and prompt, it was packaged well. The LEDs light up the room and the fog really adds that extra touch. I would say dont go for a really expensive machine when you can get this one that works well for just around 40 dollars. Ive used it for around a week or two and have had no issues. No need for batteries, the wall plug in makes It easy to use.

Used the for machine for a party I ran in my building. It worked well and the led ligting is a great addition. As you can see in my video it creates a rainbow effect on the smoke. The smoke. Fluid tank could be a bit bigger, but it will last for around 30 minutes. The remote works great.

Awesome tool to use at your party
I love the thickness of the fog. This machine gave my party a very nice feel and look. It felt like if I was at a disco. I wish the lights flashed or moved. Everybody were impressed. I used it in a small place, the living room and entryway, which are next to each other and they’re not too big, so maybe this is why the fog were more intense. I used around half container of fog liquid of around 32-48 oz, for around 5-6 hours pressing it frequently. I don’t know why it stopped working after like 5 hours. I didn’t checked why it stopped working yet so I don’t have an answer. Something to know! I tried it days prior of my party and the fire alarm got triggered with the fog. So at the time of party I took out all the alarms from my second floor apartment and none of the alarms from other apartments were triggered. Other than that loved it and recommend it.

Halloween Fog
I ordered this to dog my yard this year for Halloween. We plugged it in last night to. See how it would work, compared d to others that I have. I was very impressed with the fog that it put out. It covered the area it said it would and it was thick enough that it could be seen. I can’t wait for it to get closer to Halloween so that I can use it.

Worked.

Worked fine for me. Insaw some of the reviews after I bought it saying it sprays for 15 seconds then shuts off. I’m not sure if they don’t read or can’t but the description description definitely doesn’t make that a secret. It’s a small unit it does need to heat up. Doesn’t take long to heat up for first use or each spray after that. I used a fogging solution only because I have no idea what’s in it or what people put in these things since it’s my first one. But the fogging solution worked well. It did set my smoke alarm off while testing it inside thought I read it wouldn’t do that but I could be mistaken and maybe I read that on the fogging solution description.. nonetheless I won’t be using it inside and the product worked for me “As described lol” and I’m satisfied. By the way its only 30 bucks hope people aren’t expecting it to be like a concert fog machine that sprays for hours on end. Think realistic.
