Love it!
Bought it to use when I went ziplining in Honduras. Can’t wait til it’s warmer as I plan on using it when I kayak with my dog. Very easy to use, sturdy as well.

Great picture quality!
Using my new GoPro was great on a recent trip. The video/picture quality was about what I expected. Loved the smoothness and how steady it made the videos appear even when moving around a bit. The touch screen took some getting used to and didn’t always go to the menu expected. The only real complaint is the loud beeps every time you turn it on or start video. There really should be volume control for that.

A tremendously versatile camera!
Got this camera for a trip to the tropics and it performed flawlessly! From biking through small island towns to snorkeling along coral reefs, the Hero 10 captured everything in fantastic detail. I haven’t used the 5.3K video yet, but the 4K is magnificent. It takes great photos, too. The camera functions are easy and intuitive to use. This is going to be my go-to camera for most things professional and leisure now.It does chew through battery power fairly quickly running 4K video, so I recommend getting additional batteries for a full day of video and photography

Could be better but it’s great!
Works well with no overheating issues once the update was installed. Time-lapse is beautiful & picture quality is good. Battery life really needs attention. Just drains to fast any way you set the camera up. Would I buy another? Already thinking about it..lol One last thing, the subscription needed is well not needed you know what I’m saying.

Eats batteries and gets HOT
I bought for Hawaii trip. If it were not for the absolutely stunning pictures extracted from hours of video in heaven on earth I’d return this thing. I set it up on my end table in living room recording the tv just to see what battery life it has. 40min. And it was too hot to hold for more than 20s. I let it cool for 5min and tried second battery, 25 minutes. So I looked online and that’s just the way it is with the hero10black. If you want the best of everything else, you have to live with the poor thermal management and short battery life. So I bought the three up charger that comes with two batteries. This is a must.I used snorkeling to -20ft without any case, worked awesome. Jumping off cliff ~30ft in air, awesome. Hiking, and bike riding. I will say, without any case, it never overheated in the field. Just have batteries with you!App makes it easy to extract clips and stills. I came away with 800 photos and 200 video clips from our 2week trip and didn’t seem right to return something that captured our trip of a lifetime, and did so very well doing it. But seriously, GoPro, I’m disappointed.

Will not connect to Mac via USB
I am close to returning this because it cannot connect to a mac vis usb. The engineers who designed this took away the option to toggle out of MTP mode (instead claiming that it switches to MTP automatically). I’ve searched GoPro, Google, Reddit and Youtube – no effective solutions anywhere offered even by the GoPro staff!! Now I have to fight to get this super tight side door open and take out the micro sd and use the adapter to plug into my computer every time when I shouldn’t have to! Too many steps for the amount of money I paid. It is sold with the “ability to usb connect”, but this is a lie. GoPro, you released your 10th and latest model with this malfunction knowingly… I’m pissed!

Very intuitive camera
I bought this camera because I need to do some airborne shots from a wing tip mounted camera on an aerobatic aircraft. I use it often and I’m very happy with the quality of the image. It takes a little bit getting used to because I made a jump from a GoPro 4 to a GoPro 10.
