Really Good, But Not Quite Great
This is a lot of speaker for the money. The sound quality is good, but not quite great. I’ve had smaller speakers that produced better quality. However, this speaker can fill a good size room with good sound and works well outside.

Good bang for your buck. Literally.
After some research, bought this for my BF for his bday (he picked it out). He was very excited and impressed at the sound quality. Cheaper than redoing the sound system on the boat & it’s portable, to take to a party, bonfire, etc. I enjoy the cup holders as well! He hopes to have another friend buy one to link together music.

I found my new RZR speaker system.
I bought this speaker for my XP 1000 RZR. I didn’t want to spend $700 for a sound system that most I’ve heard don’t sound that good. So I thought I’d try this and strap it in the back of my bed. I haven’t had a chance to ride with it yet but I revved the RZR up with this speaker playing at half volume a few feet away and it was loud enough to hear over the engine with good bass. It kind of cracks me up because I know people are going to think I spent a ton of money on my sound system. I like the thick plastic handles so I can run a bike lock cable so hopefully no one will steal it. And of course it has to be waterproof for my application. The only down side is that it is heavy and big but, it works pretty good.

    Boyfriend loved this Christmas gift!!
My boyfriend was very happy when he opened this for Christmas from me. He had been wanting one like his friend had for some time, but I figured I’d get him one similar but that might have more features. Sure enough, whenever he out in the garage working on the vehicles or quads, he’s always using it. Not too big and bulky which will be nice for when we go toobing this year!! Praying it’s as waterproof as they say it is lol.

    Works Great!
The build quality is excellent. It is easy to use and the battery life is amazing on this. The only thing I wish I would have looked at more closely was whether or not it was in stereo or not. I would prefer something that picks up both the left and right sounds in the music. Some songs sound strange missing that little extra sound. Other than that, very happy with the purchase

It’s a good speaker, but the battery I got is junk
I was looking for a really good speaker and so I found it. It was good, when it was working. Tried to reach out to the company for support to get a new battery because the battery would die within 3 hours (just bought this thing). They expect me to send the whole speaker back to them to just replace the battery that is faulty with this new speaker. The EcoXGear support guy on the phone was a jerk and says I can’t replace it my self (I have seen videos on how to do it) and I have to send the speaker back to them in San Jose, California. Not happening. Their customer support doesn’t care about anything because they already have your money. The 3 year warranty is a joke because you will spend enough in shipping just getting it back to them (if living outside of the United States). So if you insist on buying this speaker, buy a new good battery for it or just buy a different speaker altogether and don’t waste your time. Forget about warranty support because this company doesn’t stand behind their product – only on their terms. The least they could have done was send me a new battery and they couldn’t even do that. Useless.EDIT on July 21, 2020: The FM radio antenna on this thing is poor. It is a partial wire loop on the back behind the back panel. It only picks up a few nearby stations. Really disappointing if you like listening to the radio. I ended up modifying it and added my own antenna to get some height and direction. The radio reception is now amazing. Too bad it wasn’t designed with a good FM antenna out of the box. Replaced the battery with an after-market one from my local battery retailer and so far, the battery is lasting and working well with this speaker. Will you get 50 hours? Not likely but your usage will vary.I am actually using the speaker again after these modifications since the whole purpose of buying the speaker was to use it on battery. Of course, a word of caution, if you do any modifications, you are voiding any warranty you thought you had through the company.Final Thoughts: The speaker looks cool. The cup holders on top and bottle opener on the side were a nice touch. They sold this to look cool, so they accomplished that. More thought could have been put into the design and small changes could have truly made this a great speaker. Would I trust putting this thing in water for an extended period of time? Not a chance. I’d be afraid of water leaking in somewhere and damaging the electronics, even though there are drainage holes and they have put some waterproofing putty around where the wires enter into the unit. After the battery replacement and antenna upgrade, I am happy with how the speaker is performing.

If you wanna get crunk, buy this
We have really enjoyed this to use outdoors around the pool or when we’re camping with friends. The sound is really great and easy Bluetooth capability with a great range. I’m no audio expert, but this met all our needs perfectly. Easy to move around as well.

Just What You Needed For Camping Or Big Outdoor Space Hangout
I spent a lot of time trying to decide which outdoor speaker to buy for my river camping trip and settled on this one. I made the right choice. II was mostly worried whether this would truly crank and it does. It’s very loud – I used it at a campsite surrounded by other loud campsites and had no problem being heard at medium volume. When I turned it up I blasted everyone away which was fun. 🙂 It’s very tough and rugged and pretty easy to move around. I only took it into the water once and it floated and was totally waterproof. I thought I would miss the lack of waterproof phone compartment, but I found that I was pretty much always using my phone to DJ so didn’t really need it. Battery life was also great – lasted through a three day weekend at many hours at loud volume before it got low. WiFi was very strong even when I walked at least 75 feet away. Now, if you’re looking for a pretty, classy-looking speaker with audiophile sound for your backyard soiree, this doesn’t quite fit the bill. It’s definitely more rugged/industrial-looking and the sound quality, while fine, is meant to be cranked, not over-analyzed. I was worried about the speaker only facing one direction but this was not a problem at all.So, put your worries aside like I did and go for it!
