Manque des pièces je suis très déçu.

    Wow! J’adore. Très lumineux
Wow, j’adore.

I kept them even though they suck
I purchased these because they had the Lighting Deal, so they were super cheap. This is after I just ordered the Rigid Industries 20211 Dually Floodlight a few day before. I only wanted one set. So I figured I would have a side by side test, then just keep the ones that are good and send the other one back. I did read the reviews as well as watching YouTube so I would get a good idea what to expect. …and I expected the quality of Rigid is way better than Auxbeam (I already have a 20″ light bar from Rigid, and I love it) It wouldn’t be apple to apple test since the Auxbeam I got was spotbeam and Rigid is Floodlight… But I kind of expect Rigid would be better in every way.I received the Auxbeam before the Rigid even though I ordered the Rigid first. I opened the box and it was nicely packed. Took them out for a quick inspection. I notice there are paint chips and a spot of the cooling fin wasn’t painted. Auxbeam, your quality control sucks! But I wasn’t upset because I expected to have to use touch up paint or spray paint after watched some of the YouTube videos anyway. The Auxbeam paint will turn gray after a few months. I had a can of Krylon MAXX hammered Black spray paint for a different project. I will use it to spray paint the face of the light pods (Not the lens, of course). Based on the reviews I have read, Auxbeam paint is an issue, along with condensation inside of lens, and lens turn yellow after a few months. I will repaint the face of the light pods, use touch up paint for the cooling fins, put some silicone to fight the condensation, and spray Meguiar’s G17804 Keep Clear Headlight on the lens as it has UV protection. But first, I must wait for the Rigid to arrive so I can compare them. Finally, I got the Rigid in hand. Build quality is great. I believe the paint is powdercoat. Looks better than Auxbeam for sure. No paint chips. It was ready to go. I had no complaints. WAIT! I do have two complaints. It took like a week to deliver, but that’s on the seller, not the product itself. Also, Rigid is expensive… But you get what you pay for. Seriously.I took both Auxbeam and Rigid out for light output comparison. Keep in mind that this test isn’t apple to apple. Auxbeam is spotbeam and Rigid is floodbeam. When aiming both to the ground, Rigid wins the battle. It was just a lot brighter than Auxbeam. But when aim them both at a distance, Auxbeam wins. But I expected Rigid to put up a good fight even though it was a flood light. But no… Then I turned on my 20″ Rigid flood and spot combo. Rigid blew Auxbeam out of the water. So, as a spotbeam goes, Auxbeam sucks. Since I plan on mounting the lights in the back of my truck. I wanted flood… I ended up keeping Auxbeam and use it as floodlights. I know it sounds stupid but I just didn’t feel like Rigid lived up to my expectation. Especially, they are freaking expensive. So, back to Auxbeam. I took it apart. Repainted the face of the light pods with Krylon MAXX hammered Black spray paint (By the way, the paint looks so badass on Auxbeam,) use touch up paint for the cooling fins, put some silicone to fight the condensation, and spray Meguiar’s G17804 Keep Clear Headlight on the lens as it has UV protection. Before I sprayed the Meguiar on the lens, I wipe them down with rubbing alcohol and microfiber towel since they came a little dirty. It SCRATCHED the crap out of the lens. I was like “WTF!” They were light scratches but still, Auxbeam, WTF! Is there even quality control for your products at all? How do you scratch lens with a microfiber towel??? Good thing I plan on mounting these in the back of my truck. But most people will mount these in the front. What happens when a rock hits it??? Seriously, Auxbeam… Anyways, I sprayed the Meguiar on, sealed it with silicone glue. Called it good.FYI, for the people who want to know. They are Made In China. Not trying to bash China, but in my experience… Most of Chinese made products don’t last. So you have to ask yourself if you are going for good quality or cheap price. Because they don’t mix.

    Buena calidad de luz
Lo único que no me pareció es que me tocó comprar el arnes de cable para la instalación aparte

Good lights, but need better quality control
Good lights but I had to dock a star for the long term usage issues that are slowly cropping up. I got these last summer and they have been working great for the last 6 months, but recent torrential rains have revealed a less than perfect seal of the housing of one of my lights. One of the lights has now accumulated condensation and it would appear that no amount of time, heat, or operation will clear it on its own. I’ll try contacting the manufacturer about the defect and update my review accordingly, but the second reason I’m not giving a perfect five star review is due to the fact that the paint seems to fade pretty quickly compared to similar lights from Rigid Industries.Altogether, these are bright and inexpensive lights with a few shortcomings in the build and quality control. They’re quite blinding even outside of the designated beam pattern, so I recommend these for off-road use only as you may attract unwanted attention from police if you were to use them daily.I’ll update this review with any updates after I’ve contacted the manufacturer about the problem I’m having. Would I recommend them? Yes, if you don’t mind having lights that may wear out quickly, but at the price, you could replace them several times before you approach the cost of the competitor’s version. Is it worth it? Perhaps, but for an off-road vehicle that will regularly sustain damage from the trail, I’d say the low cost is a welcome benefit of these little gems.

Good Value, Could be a Lot Better
Overall, I love these LED pods! I installed them on my 2012 Ram 2500 as Fog Light replacements. They have more of a spot pattern than a flood pattern but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing in my application. It almost seems like each LED has a projector that has a cutoff. When aimed correctly, they don’t blind oncoming drivers. I really only have one complaint. The housings have a built in slot that is supposed to hold the nut while you tighten the mounting Allen screw. But, as soon as you start to tighten the screws, the nut comes out of the slot. So it’s impossible to fully tighten the Allen screws without using a small open ended wrench to hold the nut. However, I was able to find a work around. I went to Home Depot and got some washers and used them. With the washers on, the nut stays in the slot and allows you to tighten the mounting screws properly. In my opinion, the kit should probably come with some washers. Regardless, the product is still very good and I would recommend them. Will update this review after I have used them a while.UPDATE (13 MAR 2020): 1 of the 4 pods I orders started leaking and always has condensation residue inside the housing. Also, if you plan on using these in colder climates, the pods do not generate enough heat to melt snow/ice that builds up on them.

The light out of these is very blue, even slightly purple
The brightness is good, but the color temp is like 8000K with a touch of 30000K. Rated at 20 watts, measured at 17 watts, which I’m alright with. Installation is janky. There is a groove in the cooling fins to retain the nuts, but it’s in the wrong place entirely, so threading on the nuts is difficult. But that can be overcome. I spaced the nut with washers to compensate. All of the hardware is low quality, so much so as missing the socket and having poorly formed threads. Use your own hardware, is my recommendation.

Good lights for the price. Mounting bracket/hardware not the best
These are good for the money. I bought some similar Chinese brand led spot lights and these are slightly better quality. The amount of light and light color was more blue and reflects off signage more than the cheaper lights do. I would not spend alot on lights that are better built because I am afraid they will get destroyed in Wisconsin weather. One of the lights mounted in my bullbar came loose and was dangling in the snow, it was undamaged. The way these mount is the only downside. Don’t buy these for what I did, to put in a bullbar. I had to modify the mount to get it to take a bolt and lock washer, which was a pain, and quite frankly the bracket does not easily bolt on the sides, it sucks. The company I bought the bullbar from recommended the lights and I don’t think they where the best choice for my application because of the mounts so that’s why I give it 4 stars.

    Good bang for the buck!
The mounts are the typical flimsy stamped parts, they do the trick. The beam is really weird. Very very spot beam. Kind of a purplish hue to the light. These lights do get quite warm after running a half hour in my testing with a 12.5v power supply. The lenses look very cool and different from the other Chinese orange peel reflectors. For the money…. a good way to go!!
