Great form factor. Super easy to use. Tons of noise and humming.
First off, I have to say the physical unit is well designed and easy to understand even without reading an operating manual. The unit can be connected to my PC and is recognized immediately. Unfortunately the main issue is that there is a constant hum and crackling sound that I couldn’t get to go away. Troubleshooting everything from my mic, to xlr cables, to my headphones… tried different 1/4″ adapters, moved the unit away from any sources of power or other signals, and even hid my phone in a different room and turned off power to everything around me. The hum and crackling sound persisted. Forum posts from almost a year ago mention a hidden firmware patch that support hasn’t released yet that can fix this, and that it is a known issue, but nobody has bothered to share the patch online and I hear the support email is hit or miss in regards to prompt replies. I’m not going to waste time dealing with that. Returned.
