Please avoid moving the zipper slider down to the very end when installing the hood on the mirror, or it may come off.
It is NOT compatible with wide-angle lens and the focal length of camera lens needs to be more than 28mm.
It is recommended to adjust the angle of the reflective glass to 45°.

This is, in large measure, a knock-off of the Glide Gear TMP100, but slightly cheaper and with a remote. It works very well, is easy to set up, and met all my expectations with one reservation. I don’t use an iPad or tablet: I use a Lilliput A11 camera monitor. That monitor is quite a bit thicker than a tablet, and the Neewer support tray raises it too high to use with a 24mm full frame lens (16mm APS-C). So I ended up not using the provided support tray, and using a SmallRig articulating arm to hold the monitor.

Handy for small phones
The Teleprompter is super handy if you want to read while recording yourself in a video. This works perfectly well! I am currently using the iPhone 14 pro max which is a pretty big phone. It doesn’t fit that well inside the box. I cannot fixate the base because it will force the phone to one side. This is because I want the lenses to be in the center as possible which means the phone is shifted to the left or right. I’m guessing that with a normal phone, the non-pro, it would fit very well. But with the promax, it doesn’t work, but it takes some practice to get it stable.

The build is great,app needs more work for width adjustment
I tried to use this with my zve10 and sigma 16mm.So the first thing is the app is not good.You cant adjust the width!It cant import through the app on your phone,you gotta open another computer and send it through the network,what the…So the remote becomes useless at this point.And be aware 14mm is too wide for this so if you get the camera next to the glass you will see the curtains.If I crop in 20percent then its ok.But then they made the panel holding the tablet not height adjustable so you can see the light of the tablet on the video if its a bit tablet which it supports,if it was lowerable you wouldnt have any problems.But if you use smaller tablet and around 30mm lens it shouldnt be a problem.The build and material quality is excellent,the rest is not unfortunately.I wouldnt buy this if they havent improved on these points.Edit:Seller contacted me and told me that they are working on improving the product on what I mentioned,improving the points to 4 for good communication.

Bought For LIVE Podcasts & Recording With Scripts
Solidly built, I have an R5 with a 24-70mm and the stand supports the camera with virtually any wobble. I wouldn’t even have any concerns if someone knocked my tripod accidentally. Everything is surprisingly sturdy for the pricepoint so I have to recommend. Works EXCELLENT with an iPad 11″.

Hinge broke after a few uses
very weak hinge…UPDATE:Customer service reached out and offered a replacement. Tested once and it worked the same. Hopefully it will last longer.4 stars for great customer service

Pretty happy with my Teleprompter
Very nice teleprompter that comes with 2 arms for accessories like a studio light and a smartphone. (The smartphone support is included)1- It’s made of aluminum that feels sturdy and high quality2- The setup process was a breeze.3- The teleprompter comes with QR code for a downloadable app that allows me to control the text displayed on the prompter remotely, which is a huge convenience.4-The storage case is very protective. It’s a good thing considering the reading area is made of glass.The only drawbacks for me is that the remote control/app doesn’t have all the features I was hoping for and I didn’t manage to get every pieces back in the case (i should have taken a photo to see how it was organized originally.Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this teleprompter to anyone in need of a reliable and easy-to-use teleprompter 🙂
