Virtual conferences offer planners and marketers a way to connect with a broader audience, often leading to higher registration numbers than in-person events as travel and cost are no longer burdens attendees must bear. In our new normal, virtual events have taken over. According to a survey conducted by PCMA, 79% of event planners are going virtual. With this event type comes a new way of thinking and planning an event. It takes cross-functional teams that include planning, marketing, IT, and digital, as well as reimagining content that engages attendees from home.
