Gevme’s new omnichannel event platform, which we’re unveiling today, enables businesses to expand, interact with, and monetize their audience through events by meeting them where they are across several platforms.
The evolution of omnichannel events
Over the last 2.5 years, there has been a significant revolution in the events business. Our virtual event platform has hosted over 1 million event participants to far, thus we have observed firsthand the (forced) shift to virtual that happened during the epidemic.
Event professionals are reevaluating their event strategy in light of the relaxing of international rules and the opening of economies. Regarding the type of events to invest in going forward, there is still a lot of ambiguity. Given the need for people to reconnect in person once more, should we only hold physical events again? or revert to the more affordable and wider-reaching virtual events?
We at Gevme think there are no simple solutions to these difficult problems. This new era of events won’t be dominated by any particular format. Certainly not the much praised hybrid event format. We think that events will be a mix of physical, virtual, hybrid, metaverse, and everything in between in the future. Therefore, an omnichannel strategy is the ideal way to host events.
