Took a chance on this one, but it worked out well.
So I had to take a chance on this one, due to a lot of vague information. I assume that, in order to be “universal” it had to be vague. For example, saying that this stand “adapts to your speakers” isn’t really true. The only adapting it does is in the adjustment of the width of the base plate. So, yes, if your speakers aren’t squared on the edges or base (like mine) you may have some challenges to overcome.Fortunately there are plenty of places to screw through the base plate and into your speaker in order to stabilize it. Which is what I did (up through the bottom). Don’t be so precious about your bookshelf speakers; a little screw isn’t going to hurt them or the sound they produce. Stand assembly was quick and they feel very sturdy and secure. My JBL Arena B15 speakers are about 8 1/2″ lbs. And they measure 7 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 15 inches tall. There is a slight taper from the front to the back (that’s where the base bracket has trouble fitting, and why I needed the screw).I was worried that the speakers would be top-heavy with this stand, as I was getting close to the higher end of what this stand says it can handle. But that’s not the case at all. These are very sturdy. And I’m on thick carpet with a pad underneath. I was worried that using a stand would be dangerous, with my two toddlers crashing around the house. But these feel very safe. I can tip them back and forth quite a bit and they don’t fall.Feeding the speaker wires through the center of the stand was easy as well. I didn’t want the stand to be very tall since my speakers themselves are already tall, so I didn’t use the bottom portion of the pipe assembly. They don’t mention this, but you can have your stand be lower this way. Now my stand adjusts from about 20″-35″ tall, instead of 31″-46″. If I ever want them to be higher I can put the bottom pipe back in.It was a good purchase. If I had to guess, I would say that their estimate of 11lbs per speaker is accurrate. My 8-1/2lb speakers feel great but I wouldn’t go much heavier. And my size (7″x5″x15″) is about at the top end as well. If your speakers are much bigger (they’re probably not “bookshelf” anyway) move up to the next size.

Good stands
They work, and do what I bought them for. However, you need additional safety, in particular when you come close to the size and weight limits, plus have pets.Instead of hooking them up to the wall I ended up screwing them into the floor, which gives peace of mind.

Solid Stands for squared (box) satellite speakers
Ver sturdy and adjustable. Did not fit my Klipsch speakers evenly as the speakers are tapered from front to back.I have the Klipsch Reference Cinema Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 System. These stands are sturdy for the weight of the satellites, but they say nothing about working best with square/box satellite speakers, which mine are not.

Attractive and sturdy
I bought Perlesmith speaker stands based on positive reviews. They were selling at a special price which was a bonus. I am 65 years old. They were very easy to assemble after watching the step-by-step video at the bottom of the Amazon page created by O.leen on how to assemble them. I bought them for my SAMSUNG SWA-9200S rear speakers to enhance my surround sound experience. I like how the stand height is adjustable so I can adjust them at or above ear level. They are attractive. They are sturdy.Negative, they are designed for larger speakers. The adjustable clamps are too wide for my Samsung rear speakers. The stand is sturdy, but I will try to find something to better secure them.

Good stands for the price
I’m happy with these stands, and the assembly was super easy. However, about half of the nuts for the feet were rusty, a minor thing, but should not have arrived that way on a new product.

It works for the price
As the headline says the item works, but I was missing a washer for my screws and the compression for holding the height adjustment is questionable. I can’t fit XLR and power cables through the hole in the stand for cable management, but that’s probably a good thing. When I went to put my speakers the slightest touch of the stand would cause it to drop (which would have crushed my cables if they were there), so I wouldn’t trust the compression they’re using to hold the height adjustment.Edit: After this review the manufacturer messaged me and sent the missing washer part. I therefore increased my rating to 4 stars.

Got the job done
I threw away the cheapo glass stands i tried first. These stands are a bit tricky to set just right, and seem somewhat precarious for the beefy Fives…. but they work well and I did not have to drill or stick anything to my fancy speakers.Thumbs up.

Nice but…
They don’t fit the Samsung Q930B speakers, they were too small for the stands. So I wouldn’t say the are “universal”. I had to use command strips to make them stay on which did work. Easy set up and sturdy just not universal.
