Great tools, average case
I gifted this product to a family member who is a huge guitar fan. He builds/fixes up guitars all of the time. He has raved about the tools that come with this product. The only downside is the case. The case is plastic and feels cheap. It barely stays closed and pops open sometimes. If the case were better plastic, or even metal, this product would for sure be 5 stars.

Decent kit but the plastic is too fragile
Ingenious idea… But the plastic that the blue handle is made out is pretty weak, so you have to be careful not to strip the wrench holes out.It hasn’t happened to me yet, but I’ve seen a few that were wrecked, so I’ve been ultra careful.It would probably add to the cost, but these things should have some metal inserts for the wrench holes or something, to make them more durable.Other than that, it’s pretty useful and will tighten 98% of anything you need to tighten on a guitar or pedal… Just don’t overtighten or move too quickly.I wish I could vie it 3. 5 stars, but because I can’t and don’t feel confident in giving it a full 4 stars, it gets 3.

Exactly what it is….well designed and simple.
First off, I already have a set of tools for my guitars (12 total. 4 bass, 8 guitars, all variously tuned from Standard to Drop-C). Secondly, I already have several Music Nomad supplies (Spanner wrench, single Octopus tool w/o the bits, Peg Winder, Tune-it, Mat and Cradle set) with more to be added to my maintenance tool kit for my “armory” (I don’t consider myself and enthusiast anymore).Not much to say bout it. It came shrink wrapped with a label/sticker describing what it was. Well thought out, and comes with just about every screwdriver bit needed for a self set-up for a guitar (USA or Import). The Octopus replaces the socket set I have, and is soft enough to not scratch up the finishes on any of my guitars. Kinda wish the screwdriver was ratcheting type, but that’s a preference and doesn’t take away from the quality. The bit holder extension was a nice touch, along the the sturdy case. Hefty, and well built.Well done, MusicNomad.

Small and compact
Handy item for average guitar maintenance but honestly you could buy a small ratchet set and keep a couple of screwdrivers or one of those multi tip screwdrivers that have the four bits built in and would be all you need for basic guitar maintenance
