Actually I need only 1 lav mike. But this price for 2 lav mikes it a no-brainer. Now I get a spare mike, and 1 more extension cable.Audio quality is satisfactory. I happen to have a fifine 678. The powerdewise lav, being omnidirectional, does pick up more ambient noise. It’s not a lot. If I really want, I just use the noise filter in my camtasia software and the noise is completely gone, without affecting the speech.It is plug and play with my smartphone. But it does not work with my laptop. The tech support promised to mail me a soundcard. I am still waiting for it.

It is a really good product however the y connector did not work and when we used two microphones, only one mic picked up really well and the other did not.
