Virtual AGM

Due to health concerns and travel restrictions associated with Coronavirus Covid19, many conference organizers are scrambling to accommodate those who are eager to participate but cannot physically attend. So, how can you augment your plans to ensure that virtual attendees still receive the full benefits of your conference? Due to the fact that your remote attendees are not immersed in your event, you should utilize technology to increase awareness, urgency, and participation.

Here are some best practices for improving the digital event experience for remote participants:

Customize your content for virtual audiences

You may already customize your event app’s content for various types of attendees, such as executives and staff. Consider doing the same for remote participants. Eventbase enables event organizers to offer distinct event app experiences based on the attendee’s function.

By defining a role for remote attendees, you can provide a distinct experience for those who are not physically present at your event. Sessions that cannot be experienced remotely can be concealed from the Schedule in your event app. You can also display or conceal sections of the app based on the role of the attendee. For example, you could conceal the in-app Game from remote attendees and provide a separate set of frequently asked questions.
