Postpone or Pivot?: Embracing Virtual Events
The impact of coronavirus on the events industry has been catastrophic. In fact, according to a detailed survey carried out by Event Manager Blog, around 90% of event professionals saw either most or all of their business go. The results from this survey were collected in March, it can be safely assumed that the situation for the events industry has only worsened.
Event planners are now faced with two choices- postpone events or pivot to virtual meetings.
