What is DCI Compliance?

DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) is a strict standard created by Hollywood studios. Christie’s cinema projectors are DCI-compliant, meaning they meet the exact color, resolution, and highly secure encryption standards required to play blockbuster theatrical releases.

Does Christie only make projectors?

No. While famous for projection, Christie is a massive visual solutions company. They manufacture high-end LED video walls, the Pandoras Box media server (for show control), and Terra (AV-over-IP networking).

How does Christie Mystique work?

Mystique uses a mounted camera that watches the projection screen. It analyzes test patterns thrown by the projectors and automatically adjusts the digital warping and blending to ensure the image is perfectly aligned, saving hours of manual labor.
