Great value for money.
These lights are surprisingly bright and agile. The lcd screen can be inverted for reading when mounted upside down, which can be done with the clamps provided. The light is simple enough to understand with the supplied manual. Overall i’m happy so far, but the real test is when used continuously during events. Will update after some use.

Careful with the mounting…
These are great little units, bright, easy to set up, a DMX cable ensures they sync if set to auto… however… the video clearly shows them mounted upside down. I did this and 2 of the units fell apart from the body. Be careful!!! I will just be using mine right-side-up from now on.

Great light for any size event, venue, or mobile DJ!
They are light but still heavy duty enough that they will survive being stored and deployed and then stored again on a regular basis. They are plenty bright and offer lots of effect styles with automatic functions as well as DMX512 for full unit control. The manual details all the functions that you can control and how to program them. The remotes help you get going in case you want easy control/setup and don’t have or want to use DMX control.

Great pro-quality lights
These lights have great features. They are fast, have pre-built programs, plus the control ports. They are really bright and quiet. Great set.

Difficult to setup, less bright when used as a single unit.

Good for the price. Plastic construction. Noisy fans.

First, let me say that I have used quite a bit of U’King gear over the years, usually because of its low cost and quick availability through Amazon and eBay. Their low end stuff is a real “you get what you pay for” – they work, but may be plastic, noisy and burn out soon. I’d buy a case of their cheap PAR lights for use in a Halloween display and over the month, several would have colors that would die. That said, if you understand that, the economics of using them for projects that don’t have to last forever is appealing. This two unit combo makes five of these I now have. Of my previous ones, they didn’t all operate at the same speed. I guess some internals had changed in production, and I couldn’t use them all for synchronized displays.I got this set of two, and hooked them up master-slave to see if they stayed in sync. They do, quite well. I will be getting rid of my old ones and getting another set of these, most likely, so they all match. When you unpack, you can tell it’s cheaper build quality. Plastic. It also comes with a remote control, which is a usual sign of “toy” versus “serious.” But, they throw a great beam, have night bright colors, and can move pretty fast. The fans are loud, and you can really hear the motor zip around. Another U’King I just reviewed looked like it came from a different company – better build quality and near silent operation. Keep that in mind. More expensive U’King stuff is better, like anywhere else usually. They can run in a 9 channel or 13 channel DMX mode. If you are manually programming them with show control software like VenueMagic, 9 channels gives you all the controls you need, but the 13 channel mode adds fine adjustments for X and Y, and more control over the auto modes. If the build quality was better, and the fans quieter, this could be five stars. They won’t be a good choice for longtime use or moving around all the time, I don’t expect.I will update this review if I have any issues. I have been burning them in hours at a time for weeks now, seeing if I can burn one out. All good so far.

Quiet, almost as good name brand
These are great. Semi pro level. The movement is not quite as fast as name brand pro models. Great DJ moving heads, they feel solid. Good display screen. Brightness seems acceptable but it is not its strong point. You get 2, always get in pairs or even numbers. Never buy just one moving head. Just a tip if you are just starting out.
