Reliable IT Power Distribution and Worldwide Compatibility
Unfiltered electrical pass-through makes the PDUH20DV ideal for distributing alternate waveform utility, UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets, and more. It provides twelve C13 outlets, two C19 outlets and a detachable C19 to C20 power cord. Four C13 outlets are front-mounted and ten outlets (8 x C13, 2 x C19) are rear-mounted for additional flexibility when connecting multiple items of equipment.
The PDUH20DV accepts 20A input power over a range of 100-240V, making it compatible with worldwide applications. It comes with a detachable C19 to C20 power cord and a C19 to L6-20P plug adapter. The PDUH20DV’s C20 inlet also accepts any country-specific power cord with a C19 connector. The C13 and C19 outlets can be adapted for specific applications by using an appropriate plug adapter, e.g. C14 to 5-15R.
Versatile Installation Options and 5-Year Warranty
The PDUH20DV comes with detachable flanges with pre-punched access holes. Adjustable depth channels allow the PDU to be configured for dozens of mounting schemes, including 1U installation in standard 19 inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations. The PDUH20DV is also suitable for 0U vertical installation in the cable management area of many rack enclosures. An optional PDUSIDEBRKT accessory (sold separately) enables vertical mounting in both toolless button mounting and standard 0U vertical rackmount configurations.

Works fine; switching is not silent
It works.Definitely not solid state – going between primary and secondary power is not instantaneous and a relatively noisy process (lots of heavy duty relays clicking).That said, all my devices have been very tolerant of the ATS switching sources and I have yet to experience any downtime as a result of power source switching.Just that you may want to factor the power switching noise in if you are using this in an A/V or bedroom setting (I am not, and I am aware that this product does not promise silent switching – just an FYI)

Only rated for 16 Amps
Quality commercial grade 120/240v PDU. Comes with a 20A power cable but Tripp Lite only rates the unit for 16A. This could be an issue as the unit does not have a circuit breaker to trip if you overload it.

I’m quite happy with this product
I’m quite happy with this product. We have a few pieces of critical equipment plugged into this PDU/ATS.The ATS is connected to two different UPS units. We can now do maintenance or simply rearrange powercord connections w/o losing power to the connected equipment. I wish all of our equipment had two power supplies,but this is the next best thing.

This is probably one of the worse PDU’s I’ve encountered
This is probably one of the worse PDU’s I’ve encountered, for a few simple reasons. 1) No breaker of any kind, manual states be careful to not overdraw the unit…. For the price of this unit, would expect a simple breaker to prevent this damage the directions speak of. 2) Retail box pretty much relies on the pdu for structure, looks like somebody rolled cardboard over the unit and stamped tripp lite onto the box. Some simple tape holding it together. 3) Converter plug and all mounting hardware missing from the box, this was the final kicker for me, returned the unit back to amazon. Can tell you if it even worked, never could plug it in. Was able to order another PDU with a breaker and monitor on it, for only a few dollars more…

I have 10 of these running for over a year without an issue, 3 or 4 of them often at high loads (over what it should be). It is true that the resolution is only 1amp, but that is fine for me.
