    Grandson loves it.
Christmas present for grandson. He loves it and was doing tricks in no time. Instructions were in Chinese so he just started experimenting and learned how to do different tricks. English Instructions would be very useful. I would have given 5 stars if it had English instructions.

    Great drone for beginners BUT………
Simply set up and easy to control. Easily hooked up to my phone. Battery life is okay. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars – you CAN’T purchase replacement blades (propellers). It does come with 4 extra blades but once those are gone, you are out of luck. I have noticed that there are blades for sale on Amazon but it doesn’t look like they are compatible with this drone. One user reached out to the seller of this drone and they said they did NOT offer blades for purchase.

    Good Beginner Drone
If you’re just getting into drone flying, like I am, then this drone is for you. The price is awesome and overall I’m happy with the product. The drone comes in a nice canvas bag with minimal packaging which I really appreciated. With the drone you get a controller, four AA batteries, four spare propellers, four blade protectors, and a user manual.I flew the drone into a tree and other obstacles (on accident) and it seemed to hold up suprisingly well. I broke a propeller on one of the crashes but it was easy enough to change out.The drone has three speed modes. I found that the first two are good for using the drone indoors, and the third and fastest is best for use outdoors, where a rogue breeze might take your drone for an unintended flight. As far as I can tell these three modes simply change how sharply you can steer and go up and down. I haven’t yet tried doing flips or more advanced maneuvers. There is an app that you can download to see through the camera of the drone, however I was pretty dissapointed with it. The app is convoluted and pretty much useless when it comes to flying the drone FPV style. There was a list of options in the app as well, although I have no idea what any of them were. All I know is that after pressing a few randomly I was unable to control the drone with the controller until deselecting the options I had just selected.Overall I think this is a really good deal. I had a lot of fun flying the drone through my house and around (and occasionally into) some obstacles outside. There’s a lot of fancy features that help you learn and keep you from getting bored quickly.

    Nice Drone for the price
Nice drone. The phone app is a little clunky but still fun to fly. I would say it’s a step above a beginner drone. Has a great carrying case.

Little drone with great beginner features
The media could not be loaded.

The Tercaso Drone is a surprisingly low-cost unit with quite a few features. It’s easy to use and ready to fly out of the box. I didn’t even read the instructions before the first flight and took off and had no issues controlling it. The unit features prop guards, one-touch takeoff and landing, hovering/loitering, and a flip/stunt feature. The controller is relatively standard but ergonomic and easy to hold. The instructions are verbose and clear. Many of these low-cost drones often have poorly written English or lack instructions at all, but not this one. The app is pretty easy to download and set up. It asks you to sign up, but you can bypass that if you want to start immediately. Controlling the drone via the app was a little difficult at first, but once you use it for a while, you get used to it. The camera can be moved up and down via the app, and video and pictures saved to the phone. There is also a shutter button on the controller that allows you to take a quick picture or stop/start video without having to take your hands off the controls.I flew the drone outside in light wind and didn’t have any trouble controlling the unit. The loiter feature even managed to keep the drone in place with light gusts of wind.As far as the batteries go, they are 1500mAh li-ion dual-cell units built into a shell with a micro-USB charger. The batteries could be repaired if they go bad, but you’d have to do some soldering. The run-time on each battery was about 25-30 minutes and easy to swap. The drone also comes with a repair kit with extra props and a screwdriver. My favorite feature is the nice case that everything fits in.

    Flew away
I was out flying it around and all sudden it just flew away. I never got it back. Meh ya get what ya pay for I guess.**UPDATE**Neighbor a couple blocks away brought it back to me. He found it in his backyard. I highly recommend putting your name and contact info on it before you fly it. I was able to get it connected to the app on my phone. It has a real slow frame rate so the video is choppy. For a cheap little P.O.S. the image quality is good. I recommend this for older kids who want to learn what a drone shouldn’t do lol. Naw it’s ok for the price.

    Easy to start flying.
    • Overall impressionFor the price point, this drone seems like it’s a bargain.• Box openingThe drone came neatly packed in a form fitting case. It fits the drone, controller, batteries in foam cutouts, and spare parts, cables, etc. in a mesh bag.Note that the prop guards need to be removed to insert the drone in the case.• Initial useAfter charging the batteries, I unfolded the props, put the prop guards on and flew it inside. The control modulation on low was easy to fly indoors and not hit things. The auto-takeoff button worked great.• Battery life:I found the battery life to be dead on at about 10 minutes flight time per battery.o ControlsThe controls all worked well and modulated for easy flight.o Fine adjustmentThe fine adjustments did work well to get it to hover with all controls centered, but as the battery wore down during flight did require some re-adjustment.• Pictures/Videoo The pictures/video were good for the price point of this drone. I preferred the buttons on the remote, but operation from the phone worked also.• Phone operationo The video while using WiFi to the drone was great, you can see from the drone’s perspective.o I tried out the phone controls, but prefer the remote to it. It seemed full featured and it never lost contact with the drone.• Phone holderI have an iPhone 12 pro max and it did fit without the case.• Crash survivalo I ‘soft’ crashed in the grass several times with no impact whatsoever.o I had several indoor crashes and again, no issues.

    Perfect drone for beginners!
Allow me to preface this review with the fact that my boys, not I, have been flying drones for years. So, allow me to give my honest opinion regarding this drone.Upon unboxing I discovered the packaging amply protected the contents from UPS’s “gentle handling”. Upon inspecting the drone I was intrigued on how light the drone is and how easily the “wings” locked open. As stated, it comes with two batteries that can charge simultaneously. The charger itself has a LED indicator that lights red while charging and turns off once fully charged. The included instructions were concise, easy to read and accurate. Initial setup was easy (follow the directions) and perfectly calibrated the drone for level flight. No need to trim the drone! I found the three power levels to be very helpful as I am most certainly a beginner. Hard to oversteer on low power. The “auto landing button” is a lifesaver! Don’t be afraid to press it, let go of the controls and watch it safely land! The app was easy to download and use (I haven’t used all the features yet) but allows you to use the onboard camera. The phone holder will securely hold your phone; however, I did need to take my phone out of its protective case iPhone 11pro. All is all, it’s an awesome drone for a beginner and will allow you to learn how to use a drone without the frustration I’ve seen my boys experience with lesser models.

Crappy features for a crappy good price
Some things like the auto return doesn’t work and some of the app is in another language. Also there is such a lag in the camera that makes using it for flying is impossible. But maybe I don’t know how to best setup the wifi.

Newbie Droning on about Drones? HECK YEAH! This is a great toy for Adults that act like Kids
Gave this as a Christmas Gift to myself. I have always wanted a drone but was wary about spending tons of money on something I would worry about possibly breaking easily. My teenage son and I had a great time opening up, it comes in a great carrying case making it easy to not lose any pieces, in addition the instruction manuals were very detailed with pictures and easy to follow. Some minor feedback do not use indoors even to test, it is rather fast and you do need to learn how to launch and land and control its flight path. Once outdoors tho it has some cool features like a flip feature and was super easy to use with the one touch launch / land. One other thing I liked is the holder for my iphone to fit and use for navigation in the controller. Very handy, and did not expect. So far no crashes nor big battery issues. Definitely fun to cruise around and play with the family.
