It features a silent programmable membrane switch, interchangeable cartridge, Logic input/output, LED indicators, screw terminal connections, and unterminated cable. MX100 models are wired lavalier electret condenser microphones designed for speech and vocal pickup, general purpose sound reinforcement, recording, and remote monitoring applications. They can be clipped to neckties, lapels, and other articles of clothing. Interchangeable cartridges make it possible to easily reconfigure microphone coverage as the need arises.

Impressed by these microphones time after time
I use these (bought 2) when filming theater performances and these microphones are just about the best way to get a full stage at once with minimum ambient noise.Note that one came with a XLR connection and the other didn’t and also more importantly – When using Phantom power – one turns on automatically and on the other you have to press the button on the microphone to turn it on, which means that if you turn the camera off, You turn the mic off but when you turn the camera back on – mic is still off (until you press it again). That said – it’s an easy 5 stars for me.

Perfect for Our Application
This microphone came with a strange metric plug, instead of being a bare end as advertised. I got it to be used in a tile lined Baptistery. Sometimes there will be strong voices followed by a timid voice. This microphone has excellent response in these conditions. It is also low profile and easy to set up out of sight. A great solution for us!
