Exactly what I what I needed!
To be honest, I already had 1 for one of my “Sonos One” rear speakers (the other was mounted to a wall). When my wife and I moved to our new home I needed a second stand. The base plate is really heavy and makes for a sturdy speaker stand. It’s well made and easy to assemble. If I could suggest anything to the manufacturer’s it would be to add some words in the form of these things the kids today call “SENTENCES”, to your assembly instructions instead of just pictures. Not everyone is handy… actually, most are not able to tell one type of screwdriver from another.-Pete W.

    Perfect for Sonos 3
Well made and sturdy. Fits the Sonos 3 perfectly and hides the power cord.

  3. Tom

Best stand for the Sonos Play 1
This Sanus stand is rock solid. This is a top notch stand for the Sonos Play 1. The Sonos Play 1 speakers are firmly screwed in so there is very little concern about it being knocked over by the little ones. It is also has great aesthetics.

  4. Reborn Biker

    Sturdy but Pricey
This speaker stand is well constructed and easy to assemble. However, I think it’s a bit pricey.

  5. M. Nichols

Exceptionally sturdy stands for holding a Sonos speaker
While there are a myriad of less expensive stands on the market, these stands (while a bit expensive) snugly hold the Sonos One speakers that I own (and the stands come with holders for certain other members of the Sonos family of products). Perhaps the best features of the stand are: 1) one can easily adjust the height of the speaker, 2) the mounting mechanism securely holds the speaker so that if a person happened to bump into the stand a rather expensive speaker will not go crashing to the floor, and 3) the speaker’s stand’s base is heavily weighted such that an accidental encounter with the speaker’s stand (e.g., at a party) will not be able to accidentally knock the stand over (again avoiding a rather expensive speaker from crashing to the floor). If one is going to spend several hundred dollars on the Sonos speakers and is seeking a speaker stand that will protect that investment then it is worth investing into these very well constructed stands.

  6. Jarrod Cecil

    Sturdy but rattle
Pros: easy to setup, look good, relatively inexpensive for good standsCons: not easy to adjust height (not a big deal with Sonos True Tone), no place in base to store extra cord, one of my stands has an awful rattle inside

  7. Brian T Richardson

    Solid and sturdy
Easy to assemble and my Sonos speakers fit perfectly. The cord stores nicely in a slot at the rear which makes the whole arrangement very neat.Speakers sound great 😁

Expensive, but if you have Sonos it’s the only stand that works!
I tried other speaker stands which said they were compatible with the Sonos Play 1 only to find after assembling they don’t work. The Sanus stand comes fully assembled, and after threading the power cable through the rear groove, you just use the included mounting screw to secure the speaker to the stand. While you can pull the stand up to raise the height of the speaker, you have to use a proprietary tool to lower the speaker if you overshoot the height. At more than twice the price of other stands, these are expensive but if you have Sonos Play 1, this is the only stand that works.

    Fantastic product!
Just about perfect. Comes with 3 plates for attaching Play:1 (attached already) Play One and Play 3. The height adjust is great thinking but the only negative for this stand is that the key for lowering the stand is designed to not stay in the stand and is flimsy. Since it does not stay in the stand I am sure most will end up losing this small cheap part or breaking it.. Other than that this uses high quality parts and won’t be knocked over easily as the base is very heavy and the pole itself is metal. Comes with carpet and wood flooring feet. Very happy with this overall. Might order 2 more in the future for the bedroom.

    Easy to put together
Sonos SL doesn’t have a screw option in the back. So when you use the included bracket, the power cord is holding it in place. Since I have this in a location, where no one can bump it, I think this is a good solution. Height adjustment is by pulling on the top out or in. Has enough resistance, I don’t think it will slide back in with the weight of the speaker.
