Well worth the price
I have been using this wireless mic set for three months now and am very pleased with its performance so far. I use it to broadcast spoken word presentations during trivia nights at a bar, and it has worked almost flawlessly in that capacity.I chose this model due to its versatility in connections – it can connect to a sound system via either the standard 1/4″ microphone jack inputs or, as the venue I run trivia at requires, through simple RCA jacks. Most of the basic wireless mic kits I’ve looked at do not offer the RCA option, so this is a welcome feature I expect many other basic users may be happy to discover, since a lot of us don’t already have devices with standard 1/4″ PA inputs. I actually do have both here at home, and in testing the unit via both RCA and 1/4″ jacks, I can say the RCA connection does result in a lower volume, less pure sound than the 1/4″ connection provides, but certainly for simple spoken word amplification it is more than adequate.I have used 1 of the 2 provided mics almost exclusively over the past 3 months, mostly because I have not yet had to change the batteries that came with the package in all that time. Both mics come with an on/off switch, which I have used religiously between trivia question readings, and I’m sure that has helped to extend the life of the batteries, but I think I can safely say I have not run into the trouble some other reviewers have mentioned re: weak batteries being provided. At any rate, I find the on-off switch a very useful feature for my purposes. No complaints here. The bluetooth channel works flawlessly, too. I connect my phone via that connection to play music during breaks in the game, and with only a bit of adjustment to the volumes on both devices I have been very satisfied with the results – the sound is crystal clear, without noticeable interference, connection drops, or noise, and I have had no difficulty playing music as loudly or softly as I want.I would call the voice reproduction this set offers excellent, considering the price of the unit. Is it professional quality? Absolutely not. Vocals can be a bit tinny or muddy at times. I certainly wouldn’t use this set for a paid singing gig. But for karaoke use, for fun, or for spoken word presentations in a semi-professional setting, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this. For the price, given the features, it can’t be beat. It sounds plenty good, it’s versatile, and I’ve experienced absolutely no issues with microphone connectivity from up to 60 feet away from the receiver indoors. It’s great. All that said, I have a number of criticisms worth mentioning.First, the microphones’ battery compartment has a flip-up plastic clip that helps to hold the batteries in place once installed. It’s almost a carbon copy of the same feature in wireless Shure microphones. However, on this model that flip clip does not sit snugly – it rattles inside the microphone handle, which translates to an obtrusive clicking noise over the PA if you’re hand holding the mic. To my way of thinking, this is an unforgivable design flaw – no way that should happen on a wireless mic clearly designed to be handheld. It’s an easy problem for a user to solve – I just put a very small bit of cotton into the two slots that were the source of the vibration noise and have had no rattle since, but the fact such a solution was necessary speaks to bad design. Because the fix was simple it isn’t a deal breaker for me, but I think potential buyers should be aware of the flaw.Second, the lack of any meaningful EQ or effects is frustrating. There is a Tone knob, but its impact on sound quality is negligible; I have left it at a neutral 12 o’clock position and it has worked fine, but I have trouble imagining any other setting having much utility, unless the user’s voice is particularly high or low. Also, there is an Echo effect knob, but it, too, doesn’t offer much of value – a tiny bit of echo (

Great product- can’t find anything better for $500+
PDKWM806B Comes with two nice microphones, has controls on each mic volume, echo, tone and allows external wired microphones too. The 2 included wireless mics work great and on top of that it allows music inputs on Bluetooth or wired.Looks nice, feels nice and works great.I hooked it up to my powered speakers and it acts like a full karaoke system when using your tablet, phone or a big tv.I am an engineer and user of many products like this. This is a combined wireless mic and mixer of wired, Bluetooth and uhf wireless. This replaced several products in one inexpensive package. All microphones should not be used directly right in front of a highly amplified speaker- even $1m devices will feed back when used by novices. These do a nice job of reducing feedback… but some people want $1B professional products for $100. If that is you, buy a no-name piece of junk so you don’t denigrate a great product because of your ignorance. Any reasonable user will find this an excellent product. No, I was not paid for this review.

Beware of limitations
The good is that this is small and you can take this on the road which I did. I’ve used it for 3 months. All home use. I did also use it at an outdoor family party. There are several bad parts. I was expecting better performance from VHF as the signal would sometimes drop out in the beginning and the pickup was pretty bad. It seems to change and get better a few seconds later as you go along, but i had issues where it would change back if no one was using the mic for a minute or so. I assumed it was the wireless (VHF) portion since if I used the bluetooth feature where I could add in a music source to it over bluetooth (which is a nice feature) then the music never had issues but the microphone did. Usually once you started talking the problem went away. Thus I couldn’t give it a good rating. I’m thinking this is just for something inside your house for family and friends to have a way to just sing together for fun. Also a reason for buying this was because of the external inputs for wired microphones. After buying this and confirming with their TAC after the return window closed (ugh!), they don’t recommend using the wired inputs. I for one could verify that if you put a mic on it it will not drive an external mic. I did not try to put this on a mixer to test it or amp, but I’m assuming it would work. In a pinch I was trying to get it to work with just power speakers and it seemed like I needed an amp since I heard the speakers kick in but never could get any sound to go through. They should really put this in their docs more clearly that an amp is required if you plug in a wired mic. I guess for the price you don’t expect to have that capability but since they have the inputs they should at least say that you need an amp to get it to work as I had friends borrow it and also wanted to do cheap karaoke since it had bluetooth for external music, but they had to use the wireless mic only.

Excellent Karaoke set up using existing equipment
I wanted to use this for Karaoke and it is simple to use especially if you have an audio receiver or powered speakers. Worked right away with my Yamaha receiver. First connected by iPad through Bluetooth, for output use RCA cables to attaché to an input on the receiver. Played Karaoke songs on YouTube on IPad,. The music played through wireless through Pyle, having control of the mixed volume. The wireless microphones connect automatically to Pyle unit. It was great to have sound through surround speakers with control of the level of voice and music. A great sounding Karaoke setup.
