Description
Everyone deserves to hear and be heard. Poly Sync Family USB/Bluetooth smart speakerphones make both happen with remarkable sound quality in personal and huddle workspaces plus small conference rooms. Voice calls flow naturally with multiple microphones that track the talker, not the noise. If people on both ends talk at once, full-duplex audio makes sure nothing is missed. It’s simple to join meetings—just plug in or connect via Bluetooth.

A powerful little device!I love my poly sync 20 but I wish they just called it the poly 20 as this model does not sync to other devices like all other models in the poly sync line. With this aside, the device is great for teams and zoom calls. It also has an amazing sound and easily syncs to your computer with a dongle or through BLE.I use this model for on the go as its small but loud. The AEC works well as the far end stated the mics come through phenomenally well without any noise. Out of the entire Poly Sync line, the 20 is by far my favorite when it comes to sound. If you require two devices for a bigger conference room then the 40 will work well as the two devices sync together. The 20 does not provide this as it is for a smaller huddle space 1-4 people.

This is a very impressive little home office speakerI’ve been looking for a product like this for some time: something that would give me good audio/mic quality in video calls, but that wouldn’t look hideous on my desk at home (or require tons of wires or external power, etc). This is very simple to set up, looks VERY clean and stylish, has great audio quality, and so far, has greatly improved my home office setup! So far I haven’t used the wireless dongle even, but I appreciate the option to go wireless (my setup never moves so for now I’m keeping it just hardwired in). Currently I have it plugged into a USB switch device. Interestingly, it requires the USB-switch to be powered in order to stay connected to my macbook (but it seemed fine on my PC without a separate power source). Once I plugged power into the USB switch, it works perfectly on my macbook, but it disconnects occasionally on my PC. Not sure what the issue there is, but my work macbook is where I need it most anyway. One question I have is….if I have the speaker hard wired (usb) into one computer, but plug the USB-dongle into another computer, can I switch audio sources on it?

Excellent sound quality and multi device handoffsSo happy with this purchase. I bought it for work from home, because the headset was getting uncomfortable after a full day. A year before, I got the Anker PowerConf puck. The Anker was more frustrating than useful: it kept dropping connections during calls. Sometimes the microphone didn’t pick up other people who were just 2 feet away. On the other end of the call, people complained they couldn’t hear me clearly even when I was next to the speaker. Upgraded firmware didn’t solve the problems. I say all this just to say that I wanted a conference speaker that just worked. Enter Polycom. My experience after a month of daily weekday use:* Very good sound quality, both speech and music* Flawless handoffs. I can stream music from my phone, and when a work call rings on either my laptop or phone, the speaker automatically switches to the call. No pressing buttons, no hunting for settings, IT JUST WORKS. After the call, the music picks up again. SEAMLESS!* Looks elegant* My colleagues are all happy with my sound quality during our calls* No dropped connectionsI guess the only negative, for me, is that the speaker sometimes picks up paired devices too well. I keep the speaker in my home office, but my phone leaves with me at the end of the workday. If I use my phone in the kitchen (a few rooms away), the Poly will often pick up the signal, and then I have to manually switch audio settings. If only bluetooth could be programmed to forget its connection during scheduled hours. But that’s not the Poly’s fault. The Poly does have a phone app, but it has an unintuitive name (PLT Hub) and annoyingly doesn’t remember which device I have. The app lets you customize the speaker buttons and update the firmware if needed. All in all: the Poly is the phone speaker I wish I’d gotten from start!

Great product, be careful with WebexThe product works flawlessly with the dongle but with Webex if I try to use the USB it somehow crashes Webex, have tried multiple different options, just does not like it. If I use with the dongle, it works flawlessly in Webex, Teams, Skype and Zoom.

Best speaker for those meetings.Love the speaker. I don’t need to wear my headset all the time. No problem with the configuration. You can use it hardwire or with the Bluetooth dongle. No issues with echo because you are using the same device for audio and mic and it’s smart enough to not do that. Came with a sleeve for storage. I use to listen to music and of course you can get better sound but it does the job.

May not last for longI bought in April 2022. It’s been working fine. I did not buy the one that specifically mentioned Teams, but comments said it would still work for teams. My sound did not automatically integrate with teams–and there may be a setting somewhere–but I haven’t found it yet. I would say it seems incompatible with teams–so the upgrade would be worth it–if you use teams alot. Or have someone that knows how to get the connection to work. But I logged in today, and when I connect–it just has static. No one can hear me. Nothing happened between Friday and today that would have changed my speaker. It seems to have died. I’m googling looking for support/help–and so far–I haven’t found a solution that solves the problem.

Very Happy with this ProductI began with Anker PowerConf, but it was far from a satisfactory product (issue with blue tooth disconnection and hearing problem on other side). However, when I switch to Poly, it is an incredible product for the home office. Microphone and speaker for meetings are quite adequate. It’s acceptable for watching movies and listening to music. Indeed, I’m missing a headphone jack on poly that was present on the Anker.ORDER PLACEDJuly 12, 2021

Quality productThe build is solid, microphone is sensitive and perfect for zoom/skype/team calls. Only feedback is that the speaker volume seems quite soft for skype via USB dongle connection and I had to push up to 90% loudness.

Portable, easy to carry and up to 20 hours of battery life!I’ve been working from home and studying English online. That’s why I got this Bluetooth speakerphone.I really needed something easy to connect and portable, so I can take it anywhere with me. Also, It has up to 20 hours of battery life, which is amazing. This speakerphone reduces echo and noise so everyone hears you clearly. I highly recommend this speakerphone if you’re also looking for a great one!
