Description
The Monolith Speaker Stand is an ideal pedestal for your home theater speakers in your entertainment system. Sturdy steel columns provide incredible strength and rigidity to support up to 75 lbs. The Monolith Speaker stand is the perfect way to display your speakers! It comes in singles, not pairs, so if you need 3, 5, or 7 you will not be stuck with a leftover stand.
Sturdy Construction: Four steel support columns feature a scratch-resistant black powder coat finish. The result is a rigid platform outfitted with a satin finish that cleans easily and resists scratches and scuffs. Each stand is 24 inches tall and is acoustically inert. Four soft rubberized top pads are supplied to protect your speaker from scratches and to further isolate your speaker from unwanted acoustic vibrations.
Rectangular Columns: All four support piers can be filled with sand or steel shot for the ultimate in vibration dampening. This will further reduce any unwanted vibrations or resonances that can color the sound and reduce fidelity.
Adjustable Spikes: Each stand comes with adjustable spikes to pierce through your carpet and isolate the stand and your speaker from floor vibrations and resonances.

Large but does the jobI bought the 24-inch high stands to support my new JBL bookcase speakers. They do the job very well and look great! However, I ended up removing and throwing away the small rubber pads that go on top of the base plate. They are quite worthless if you have heavier speakers. I replaced them with larger pads that help hold the speaker in place and help protect from vibration.

Good standsJust make sure you realize the price is for *each* speaker stand, made the mistake of ordering only one thinking it was a pair, now I have to wait a week with only a single speaker stand 😂

Only carpet spikes are included, as if these stands were not marketed for hard floors.Almost 5 stars! The steel is heavy and solid. I filled mine with sand, which was a little time consuming, but worth it. The stands went together easily. My only gripe was the fact that they only include carpet spikes for the base, as if the stands are not intended for hard floors. So… I endeavored to find some adjustable furniture feet with M8 threads. Home Depot, Lowe’s and local hardware stores had nothing in that size, and few options otherwise. I called the manufacturer, Monoprice to ask if they had recommendations, thinking they must have calls for this regularly since they don’t include them in the purchase. The Customer Service guy claims he’s never had that request before. I eventually had to order some from Amazon. Bottom line is that I couldn’t set up my new speakers for more than a week due to this. Certainly not a huge hardship, but it seems that Monoprice would want to make this process more friendly for people who don’t have carpeted floors.

AWSOME! Great at the price and even if 2x the costSuper fast delivery. Nicely packed. Good directions and a snap to assemble. Researched and read dozens of reviews for this and many other stands and watched YouTube stand reviews. Made the right choice with this one. Added feet, lock washers and some sound dampening as others suggested and 1/2 cup of coated steel pellets to each leg topped off with sand 2” from top – heavy and solid sounding. Airmotive B1+ speakers fit nicely and look great with the finished stands. Nicely painted metal parts and zero rust anywhere.

Great value and sturdy stand.Had no use for spikes, so I replaced them with M8 threaded furniture feet fo my wood floors. Used Command picture strip to secure the speaker and for sound isolation.

Great standOnly reason I did not give this a 5 rating is because of assembling the base. Hard to align the screws with the holes. If they provided “dog point” screws which are self aligning, assembly would be a breeze.Overall they are great. Very sturdy and heavy (which is a good thing)

These Stands Will Last ForeverThese Monolith Speaker Stands are an impressive value. All steel construction, including the base. High quality engineering. Fillable with sand for extra ballast, though the weight of these Stands makes extra ballast unnecessary. Perfectly engineered so that all tubes are lined up straight. These Monolith stands were purchased to hold a pair of Klipsch RB81 II speakers, which weigh 28 pounds each. The monolith stands are rated to support much more speaker weight and that is no false claim. These stands are solid. I bet these stands will last forever.Just one concern related to the base of the stand: Monolith includes optional spikes for rugs, but fails to provide rubber feet for wood floor protection. Unfortunately, I already scratched my wood floor before I could find suitable rubber feet that don’t spoil the look. While it may be intentional to allow the base extra solid connection to the floor, I wonder if the smart folks at Monolith could engineer screw-in rubber padded feet to replace the spikes for wood floor locations. Otherwise, these Monolith stands – during a time when prices are up and value is down – brought a wide smile to my face!!Clearly, highly recommended!

Great weight to hold any speaker.I use these stands for a 25 pound pair of rear channel box speakers. The height of these stands makes it almost perfect for the actual listening ear level when someone is sitting down in a recliner chair.

Solid and Great QualityI purchased this for Klipsch R-51PM speakers. The stands are straightforward to assemble and are very solid. There was a scratch on the top plate of one of the stands but it does not matter as it is under the speaker. I used 3M hanging tapes to secure the speakers from falling.

Excellent speaker stands!I love the fact these stands are 100% metal and come with isolation spikes. I own four 24” tall stands under M&K LCR750s in the home theater setup and two 28” tall stands under a pair of RogerSound Labs CG6s in my dedicated two channel rig.You can fill any or all of the four columns of the stand with ballast of your choice, although these are heavy enough that I chose to not add any additional ballast. Some cable management would be nice, but it’s easy enough to use black zip ties to fasten your cable to one of the black uprights.Overall a great stand. Would not hesitate to buy again if needed.
