10 reviews for Panlong 4-Way AV Switch RCA Switcher 4 in 1 Out Composite Video L/R Stereo Audio Selector Box for DVD STB Game Consoles

Good purchaseBought this because we wanted to have the VCR, DVD player, ps2, and wii all plugged in because we are nostalgic and still like to be able to use those things when the mood strikes. It was a pain in the butt to constantly have to switch out cords and plug things in, so I got this. Had everything plugged in and ready to go in under 5 minutes. Super easy to push the buttons to switch which device you want to use, you just need to remember which number is for which device or label them or something, unless you like following cords to their source whenever you want to use something.

Works fine satisfiedWish they still made this type with a remote though. All the wiring on this is correct. I bought one of these a long time ago and the video and microphone wires were solders in reverse on one channel. By chance I said let me plug the audio jack into the video jack and it worked.

Adds very little noise to audio signal!Solid buy! This is my second RCA signal switcher. The first one added very obvious signal noise to all inputs. Bought this and plugged everything in, and almost no signal noise. Much better than the first one I used. RCAs plugged in firmly, and buttons on front feel solid. Worth it!!!

Make sure you have an extra RCA patch cord! The product works great! I just wish they included a RCA patch cord with it as I (thankfully) had a spare one that I could use (from my TV to the box in the “out” positions).

Easy setupJust what I needed to hookup all my DVD and cd players

No interferenceI don’t have eagle eyes. I can’t tell you exactly whether or not this truly is properly shielded and adds ZERO interference. What I can say is that it is “good enough”. I bought two of these and have one routing video and the other audio for my setup which uses 4 component video systems, and it works perfectly and several times cheaper than just buying a dedicated component switch box.Excellent stuff. Cannot complain.

Works, but buy AV cables.Works but doesn’t include the av cables to hook it to the TV.

Is what it is, and does what it needs to doGot pretty much what I expected. Casing feels light, flimsy, and shoddily put together, but it has the 4 in – 1 out AV ports I was promised with buttons to switch. The buttons and switches though are also 2/10 quality and would not be surprised if I have to take this apart in the future to replace/repair those. They wobble out of the box and clunk into place with a worrying impact.Still giving 4/5 as yeah, this is totally what I was expecting for the price and am not disappointed by it given that. It works, so far works well, and does what I got it to do.Only oddity being running VCR through it to AV-2-USB capture card I could only get B/W from the capture. Very niche concern, but worth mentioning. Works fine for NES/PS2/Wii that I also have running through it.Will give it this though – I have NES through it, then through Retrotink (HDMI upscaler) into Avermedia card and the capture looks brilliant still. So at least the one I got works perfectly fine for streaming NES/Retro if that’s a convern. No heating/temp issues to speak of. The thing is also SUPER light. The passive tension from some of the AV cables is more than enough to lift it partially off the shelf it’s on. Well, was, I did mess with the cables and now they’re holding it down so it doesn’t fly away on me :)Would’ve been 100% 5/5 if buttons were better installed/quality/etc and casing didn’t feel like it was Elmers Glued together and made from aluminum cans.0/5 RC and Sheerness ’cause there’s no RC features on this thing AMAZON and what even is Sheerness? How about letting me rate “Construction” and “Functionality” ? 2/5 and 4/5 respectively.

Great value and durableI’ve had one of these for a few years now and use it pretty much daily.Have to say it’s held up better then I thought and it was a pretty great value back when Panlong was selling these.
