I’ve been finding a splitter for my streams since my monitor only has 1 HDMI port and this works amazing! I plugged in my ps 4 into the input and split the output to my monitor + laptop for OBS and it works amazing!!!

    Simplicity in its self
Bought this splitter as my old one died 😢 and was sent to the great recycling ♻️ bin inthe yard. So I purchased this OREI two way splitter and it is simplicity in its self plug and play now my TV is 8k capable and my monitor is 4k so switched on the EDID no problems at all on my TV but my monitor would only go to 1080p ok me thinks a bit of fiddling no only 1080p on the monitor suspicion was raised so swapped the hdmi about only this time 1080p on the TV and 4k on the monitor, seems to be some unscrupulous sellers on Amazon and they be selling 4k hdmi cables that are not capable, shame on them but I bought the cable months ago so not much I can do about it now, so went to my local richer sounds purchased a new 8k capable cable now both TV and monitor are showing 4k happy chappie. Don’t believe a cable to be 4k just because it says so on the box I will not be buying them from amazon again. But the splitter is excellent 👌

Cumple solo es duplicador de pantalla
Lo utilizo para duplicar PC y tv cumple, lo probé con tarjeta captura el gato haber si eliminaba el HDCP con roku pero no sirve para eso. Seguramente hay opciones mejores opciones baratas.

Iphone, Ipad to screen? Look at my comment before buying.
There are some questions asking does this play netflix with people answering yes. If the question you’re asking is does this play netflix from an Ipad, phone etc to a screen the answer is NO it does not. I bought this based on the yes it plays netflix answers but when I hooked it up to my iphone 14 via lighting to hdmi cord it would not play netflix, hbo etc.. It plays youtube but not other major streaming apps.

    Frustration Relieved
I have tried so many different setups to split two tvs to play the same thing and this was the only one that worked with my Xfinity box. My frustration is finally relieved. I have one tv setup in the living room and ran a 25ft HDMI to the kitchen tv. I am very satisfied with the results of the display on both tvs and was easy to setup. Luckily I have extra HDMI cords since it does not come with one to insert in the input port.

    Very easy to use
This product is so insanely straight forward, and it’s really good for having two monitors but only having a console, if you want to switch between a different monitor or side just simply press the button in the middle, very easy, cheap, and good

Didn’t work for what I needed – 3D bluray and DTS HD MA sound to receiver
My pre-processor (Outlaw Audio 975) has always had trouble passing through a Bluray 3D video signal to my Optoma HD25 projector. Any attempt to play 3D video would cause the projector to not sync to the HDMI video signal and display the 3D video. However, if I bypassed the 975 and connected the Bluray player directly to the projector, 3D video worked fine. Thus, I purchased this product in an attempt to get the video working while being able to send the audio to the 975. All attempts at this failed; I tried connecting the 975 to output 1 and the projector to output 2 (attempt #1), then flipping the EDID switch (attempt #2), power cycling the Bluray player and splitter between every attempt, then swapping the outputs (975 to output 2 and projector to output 1) (attempt 3) …and then flipping the switch back (attempt #4) – all without success. In some cases the projector failed to detect that a 3D bluray player was connected, and in other cases the 3D video worked fine but the splitter failed to send the 975’s audio capabilities to the Bluray player, so only stereo audio worked instead of the Bluray’s DTS HD MA. In summary, I wasn’t able to get 3D video and DTS HD MA audio to the 975 working simultaneously. In the end, I discovered if I switched input sources on my 975 away from the Bluray player to another source – and then back to the Bluray player, eventually the projector would sync to the Bluray player’s 3D video signal and everything worked (without needing this splitter). However, it would have been nice if it had worked since it would have been a more reliable solution. The EDID switch being set to “merge” mode seems like it should take the “best” capabilities of each output (i.e. 3D video capability from the projector and DTS HD MA audio from the receiver) and send that to the Bluray player, but this didn’t work for me, unfortunately. If your two output devices have similar capabilities, this splitter will probably work fine for you, but not if you’re trying to do something similar to what I was trying.
