Description
The PB-8 press box is perfect for press conferences or any situation requiring a single mic signal to be “split” multiple times. Its features include a rugged steel box, a single XLR female mic level source input, a “loop” output (to go to a mixing console to interface with an external phantom power supply, or to “daisy chain” this unit to a second PB-8 for additional isolated outputs), and eight discrete isolated XLR male outputs. Due to the D.C. blocking characteristics of a transformer, the isolated outputs will not pass phantom power. The connectors are recessed to resist damage.

Still works great though. It did come with a screww missing …This thing is handy. Although it is transformer isolated, there is a drop in signal level from the source to the 8 outputs. Still works great though. It did come with a screww missing inside causing some things to rattle around. Quick fix but shouldn’t have to be done.

Worked good for usNot much to say. It did the job. We tried a RCA to XLR adapter and it didn’t work. Not sure if that had to do with the press box, but then used a 1/4 out to xor and it was perfect. Incredible box for the price.
