Using these With Klipsch Reference Cinema Atmos Satellites
Got these for my Klipsch Reference Cinema surrounds. First thing, the feet are NOT rubber! They are plastic. Not a huge deal. I put sticky felt pads on them. Makes a huge difference. The 1/4 inch bolts that come with the stands were too long for the holes on these speakers and the washers are too small for the 1/4 inch bolts. I went to Home Depot and got 1/4 in – 20 X 1 inch bolts and large washers. The holes on these speakers are very low on the back. Instead of using that ridiculous hole on the bracket, I raised the bracket all the way up, used the large washer and spacer to screw the bolt through the bracket, into the speaker. This way the bracket doesn’t look awful, hanging down in the back. I also put self stick vinyl foam weatherseal tape on the bracket brace to secure it and reduce vibrations. Everything works perfectly. With a few minor modifications, these stands are perfect for these speakers. These stands a very sturdy. That only way they fall over is from an earthquake or someone knocks them over. Pictures taken before wires were secured inside stands.

This is the one to get if you have mid size speakers
Speaker stands isn’t something you need to buy often, so getting a good pair that will last is a good idea. This pair of stands is a great choice in it’s price range, you really can’t go wrong. The sub $50 range of speaker stands are usually very low weight bearing (usually meant for 3-5 lb speakers only), the tubes are skinny and thin, the whole thing wobbly and unstable. I’ve had to return a pair that collapsed 2 weeks in and the locking thread is no longer working. This Mounting Dream stand is not that. it’s well build, with thick gauge metals used everywhere, nice even powder coating, good tolerance on the screw holes (no misalignment and the like). All the screws except two are hex screws (cheaper stands gives you a bunch of Philips that’s easy to strip), and the hex key provided actually doubles as a Philips. You won’t need any additional tools to put this stand together. The stand’s center column is also the speaker wire hider (the openings big enough to run a power cable through if you have active speakers), and the L shape locking arm can accommodate almost every kind of speaker with wall mounting hardware build in. The attention to detail is everywhere, even the stickers are the ‘leave no mess’ version so you don’t have to deal with messy residues after you peel off the stickers. The one catch here is the top plate of this stand is on the small side, and if you have a larger speaker (say 10 lbs.) that has no wall mounting options build in, you’ll have to screw the top plate into the bottom of the speakers. The hardware is supplied but that’s just not a great option. If your speakers are big, get a stand with bigger top plate. All in all, I got no complains for this stand. The price is a bit more but you certainly get what you paid for. Would recommend.

    Thread your speak wire first
Solid metal. Doesn’t feel high quality but also doesn’t feel flimsy cheap. It works.Be sure to thread your wires first while assembling not afterwards. They can be difficult to pull through and might get caught at the joints.

Far from perfect but it works well
Easy to assemble, instructions are clear and understandable, works well with Samsung Q990B rear speakers. Adjustable height is limited. My only complaint is the bottom pedestal isn’t very heavy. it’s been stable so far without mounting onto the floor.

Great Speaker Stand for Samsung Q990B
When I read the initial reviews, this unit was selling for $50. It’s worth every bit the $70+ dollars they are asking for it, but I was able to find a “used” one through Amazon for $50. The box was damaged, otherwise everything else was in brand new condition. I got lucky and in hindsight, I’d absolutely pay $70+ for these. For clarity, these stands come with specific Samsung hardware to screw the speaker into place so you won’t need run to the hardware store. Kudos to Mounting Dream for adding this as this is the absolute best stand to help your cable management game.It took just a few minutes to put together. It was well packaged and the instructions were clear. You won’t used most of the mounting hardware provided to you if you are mounting the Samsung rear speakers. My only criticism would be with the adjustment screw. The plastic nut portion feels a little flimsy and you should be careful not to over tighten.Keep your original cords and employ a surge protector power strip right next to the base. You don’t want to plug your speaker directly into the wall anyway. The adjustments for other speakers are generous. There is a lot of play on the X and Y axis for a wide variety of speaker sizes.I’m very happy with my purchase.

Excellent value for a “generic” speaker stand
You need to assembly a tube to the base, and then a tube to that to finish the basic stand. The next part is mount the speaker to the stand. For my Sony – HT-A9 this stand worked okay. Neither screw they offer fir the back of the speaker, but there is a “wall hanger screw” and wingnut that worked. My speakers sit just fine on the stands. The stands are fairly weighty and I am not afraid of them getting bumped and falling off the stand because they are attached with a screw and wingnut. I feel these are GREAT value compared to the $518 wanted for the custom built speaker stands for my Sony speakers.

    Best stands I found
Great speaker stands. Fit my rear speakers for my Samsung Q990b perfectly. Easily assembled and adjustable. The cable management down the center of the stand and out of view is a must to not have a sloppy look. With heavy powered speakers like mine they are a little top heavy, no problem 90% of the time but if you have young kids don’t then them pull them over on themselves. My toddler loves to try to shake them, so be careful. Overall the best I found anywhere.

Must have for Samsung Q series sound bar systems
I spent days looking for speaker stands that would hide that awful wire coming out of the back of wireless speakers. The point of wireless speaker is to have no wires. The opening on these are big enough to feed the wire through, but… you have to feed the wire through the bottom and use a string or a coat hanger to cox the wire through all of the tube to the opening in the top. The smaller bar area its a little tight, but the cord goes through and it pops right out of the tube in the opening at the top. Just make sure you get an 8 to 12ft. power cord for the speaker, the 5 ft cord that comes with the speaker will not be long enough to go through the tube and connect to the wall. The other plus side of this speaker stand, a dedicated bag just for the Q series speakers. This is an odd bolt to find, but they provide you the 2 bolts that secure the speakers. It is not mentioned on the instructions, but the bag is labeled Samsung. If you own the Q series sound system, these stand are a must have.

Vizio 5.1 Surround Speaker Stands At Last
The product gets a five; the service a lesser number. See below, and then an UPDATE.I read the reviews; someone got a used a set of stands instead of new. That wouldn’t happen to me. It did.I paid for new speak stands and was sent used speaker stands. It looked like someone got half-way through set-up and returned the set I received. They also left their drill bit in the return so…bonus? The speaker stands work well. They have adjustments for the base so they should work fine on flat or carpeted surfaces. There’s enough attachment gear that these stands should work for whatever consumer-level gear you have. The hole for the audio cable is wide; the widest I’ve seen. How wide? I don’t know, but I do know my VIZIO surround cable went through without a hitch. I’m pretty sure I could drag about 5 coaxial cables through the pole and hole. For a Vizio surround set with left and right, rear speakers, however, you’ll have to handle things differently than the instructions permit. I have a photo of the back of my speaker stand setup. Follow this and you should be all right!I have a lot of traffic near these stands so I needed a sturdy base that was heavy enough to rest on carpet without knocking over when people(the constant group of kids swarming my house) knock into them. For me, this setup is not overkill 😀 Just an FYI, but I don’t think this set has drill-feet to secure to carpet.UPDATE: contacted Hinger(spelled incorrectly, I’m sure) and they immediately sent new speaker stands which arrived within a couple days! I now have new speaker stands without any issues. Thank you!
