Very good!
I used this for my medical residency interview and paired it with a Sony A7iii DSLR as my webcam. I was constantly told by my interviewers that my webcam was phenomenal. Much better than using the sony app.

Beautiful picture quality in windows, PITA under linux
I bought this to use a dSLR for zoom on a computer that dual boots linux and windows. On the windows side, the picture is perfect and everything works great. 10/10.On the linux side, it’s a pain. It doesn’t work unless you install drivers, which have to be reinstalled any time the kernel updates. The software freezes up. I got it limping along (low res) but finally gave up on it. I’ll just use a regular webcam when I’m using linux. I am not well enough acquainted with the technical reasons, but I wish hardware vendors like this put their drivers into the linux kernel so stuff would just work.

Great capture device. Just make sure you install software first.
This little guy definitely made video capturing easier. Just make sure to install the software and then make sure you have it configured to either HDMI or 3G/SDI. It canNOT do both at the same time. Other than that, it works in OBS just great and you can configure the resolution to whatever you want. Now I don’t have to use USB video capture devices all attached outside of the PC. Makes the area cleaner. It’s a decent vid cap device. It isn’t really cheap, but definitely affordable.

Great TB3 video capture card!!
Super quality expected for highly praised video hardware company!!! Set up is tricky on newer macs ( you have to change security settings not big deal ). The video quality with my Sony A7RIII full frame camera it’s amazing. I was looking to capture video on 4K format. Since this device uses TB3 via PCIe connection now I could capture video with great quality on this highly system demand format. I recommend to use Sonnet PCIe box for as many ports you need ( I took the single card since I only needed one PCIe slot ). I tried like 4 different video capture cards ( all using USB 3.0 connection ) and O was getting poor video quality video.

Prores 422 10bit capture on Windows 405mb/s!
Bought this card for g30 Canon studio work and found out with certain software you can capture HDR, UHD, 4k 1080p 59.94fps and other fps. I figured out how to turn a Windows PC into atomos recorder with this card. Google gereral1 and you will find blackmagic decklink 4k pro res 422 10 bit how to on YouTube. Saved me 1000 bucks.

Good results but requires dkms for linux
Overall good once you get it running, but the driver for this requires downloading their software package and installing the kernel module via dkms (which alot of distributions don’t have in their primary repositories).

The Software won’t recognize the cards
While the card is great, the problem lies with the software. I actually have an older Intensity pro for a secondary capture. I had to downgrade the software to 10.9.5 to get both cards to recognize. They don’t always do that, though.Seems like I have to reboot the machine to get both cards to work. The Video setup won’t show them, even though the Device Manager does. I have to check the setup before I do anything else, or I’ll have to stop everything to reboot. After that point, they work like champs. The Decklink does 4k easily, and I can use my ATEM with the SDI.
