Great for metal kick drum tones!
I got this and a shure beta 52a, and the combination of the 2 mics is superb! A few other pros I’ve spoken with that have shot this out against the real thing prefer this one!

Microfono incredibile
Microfono per grancassa incredibile, sia che lo usiate in Flat sia che lo usiate con la curva ottimizzata, regala un suono bellissimo per la grancassa. Anche senza equalizzazione è già bellissimo.Ben costruito e ad un prezzo di 1/4 rispetto allo shure 91a a cui si ispira.Per poco più di 70 euro non avrete di meglio.Necessita alimentazione phantom.

The Price and Sound !!!!!
I’m a sound man I’ve been doing sound for over 30yr … I’ve use a lot of bass drum mic’s but this thing here is unreal the sound i got out of it was incredible !!!! I’ve use a lot mic’s the RE20, D6, Bate52, D12 But this $79 Mic sounds just as good if not Better . If your a sound guy or girl ad this Mic to you gear !!!!! You will Love it !!!!!!

Pleasantly surprised. Now part of my mic lineup.
After seeing a glowing review from a fellow drummer – I did some research. After seeing many great reviews from other sound guys, I decided to snag one for my production company. I’m usually an Audix guy for miking drums but occasionally I have to work with a drummer with a goofy KickPort or odd port hole where it’s difficult to get a decent position with a D6 on a stand. This mic comes in super handy. It’s weighted so as long as you have it sitting on a blanket or pillow, it’s not going anywhere. Sound? You’ll have no problem getting a great kick sound right out of the gate. Color me impressed. I’ve seen concerns over the power indicator LED on the unit… you’ll never notice it unless the kick has a clear reso. Don’t let that keep you from getting this mic.I’m super impressed and glad I’ve added this to my mic lineup. If you’re in the market for a great kick mic (or at least a backup) that’s not going to break – look no further.

Qualità a poco prezzo
Microfono robusto con un bel peso devo dire… Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro in fase di ripresa della grancassa… Sono sempre stato restio sul marchio in questione ma devo ricredermi; già da quando ho acquistato dei monitor da studio ho avuto un primo riscontro positivo; con il microfono poi ho avuto un’ulteriore conferma… Per il momento mi ci trovo bene e mi sento di consigliarlo almeno a coloro che non possono spendere quattro volte di più per uno shure, ma anche per un utilizzo professionale perché ha tutte le carte per giocarsela con i grandi marchi… Spedizione Amazon impeccabile!

Bought for kick drum and did not disappoint. Has good weight to it and clear sound. No longer have to borrow mic’s
