I thought you might be interested to see how I cloned myself onstage using a simulated “hologram”. Conference organisers are always looking for new and innovative ways to communicate with corporate audiences.  One of “us” was in the year 2020 and the other in the present – so we could have a conversation with each other. Watch the short video I made during the process to see how it was done for a corporate conference audience of around 1000 in a theatre in Istanbul.

RFID vs barcodes

Over the last few years, conversations have taken place with events large and small, as they weigh up the opportunities and potential issues of using RFID systems at their events.

There is no doubt that for secure applications like cashless systems linked to your bank account, the secure aspect of RFID trumps all others and really is the only way forward.  The same is true if events want or need to track audience movements around site or monitor crowd numbers in different venues.10

3D Video Projection Mapping

Video Projection Mapping is an exciting technique that allows us to turn almost any surface into a dynamic video display. Specialized software is used to warp and mask the projected image to make it fit perfectly on irregularly shaped screens, such as sides of buildings, large walls or other features you might find within a convention center or hotel ballroom. When done right, the end result is a dynamic projection installation that transcends an ordinary live-event experience.
