Easy to install and comes with a template to drill the required holes. Love the way its has a power light on the outside of box to let you know that it has power(my original box didn’t)

THIS FIXED MY ISSUE 100%
FOR SOME REASON I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY MY CAMERA SYSTEM WOULD SHUT DOWN FOR A SHORT WHILE AND THEN COME BACK ON. EVERYTHING SEEMED FINE. IT WAS REALLY A PROCESS OF ELIMINATION. THIS IS MY SECOND BOX FROM THIS SELLER BECAUSE WHEN I ORDERED THE FIRST ONE, MY CAMERAS WERE BACK ON FOR SEVERAL DAYS, SO I RETURNED IT WITHOUT TRYING IT OUT. AND OF COURSE ONCE I SENT IT BACK MY CAMERA’S WENT DOWN AGAIN. SO AFTER KICKING MYSELF IN THE HEAD, I ORDERED IT AGAIN AND WHEN THE CAMERA’S WENT DOWN AGAIN, I SWITCHED IT OUT RIGHT AWAY AND THE CAMERA’S HAVE BEEN ON EVER SINCE. I HAD NO WAY TO CHECK OUT THE POWER SUPPLY, BECAUSE IT LOOKED FINE AND ALL THE LIGHTS WERE WORKING. BUT, SOMETHING MUST HAVE HAPPENED BECAUSE I HAVEN’T HAD A PROBLEM SINCE. THANK YOU SELLER

Works fantastic! Some mods were required.
Bought as Amazon Warehouse Deal. Box okay, panel had been dropped causing slightly deformed corner on door, high voltage guard broken at 1 mount. Neither problem was a show-stopper, just minor annoyance and easily repaired (5 minutes). 120vac power connector *IS NOT GROUNDED*. Ground pin on connector is not connected.5 x Smonet wireless HD cameras, up to 1Amp each. So far, so good. Set voltage output for 13 so cameras are powered and battery to be charged. Might add a schottky diode later to isolate battery charge line to allow use/charge of lithium phosphate battery pack.Power switch turns off 120v converter, but does not disconnect battery from cameras. Was surprised when arc’d a camera lead during install after unplugging power cord and turning off panel. Perhaps a security feature, but was unexpected.Should have realized prior that this panel only has knockout blanks. Used 1/2″ Rolex clamps to secure camera leads ran through a short piece of rubber hose. Should keep dirt daubers out. Might need to glue in a piece of window screen over vent holes to keep insects out. This is not an outdoor enclosure, but installed in protected outdoor location and grounded panel door & box.

Easy installation
These units arrived well packed, so there was no damage to the device – which is a plus since they are being installed in public areas. They are easy to install, the mounting hardware is included along with a stick-on mounting template. The power cord is included, just plug it into any outlet, as well as the battery connector (you have to supply your own 12 VDC battery). The unit functioned as expected and is compact so it’s easier to install in tight areas.

I like the design
I like the design, the metal for the enclosure, I like a lot high and size of the enclosure. This enclosure is strong, feel smooth when you touch it and the paint is A+. Very good detail in the LED outside the front cover. I buy this power supply because the LED outside the keys and the look this have. Unfortunately I didn’t got the keys ( I will contact manufacture to request them), beside the keys missing every thing was there.More knock holes (in the middle of the panel, in the sides of the panel (not in the top) so you can choose from where you want to fit the cables.The other thing i like this power supply is the place where the fuse board is locate inside the enclosure. I purchased many power supplies and all the same without keys, LED for power ON, and all have the same problem; the holes to mount the enclosure were cover by the fuse board, so you need to remove the fuse board to be able to mount the enclosure correctly. this one is the best, you can see the mounting holes when you open the door of the enclosure….fantastic!I still need to see if the power supply stay firm and keep working for a year so I can give them 5 stars.

Good simple solution
This was a good replacement for our former power supply but the spaces between the connections are small. It was a bit tedious to switch but the results were definitely worth it?

Works great for supplying power to numerous echo dots mounted in walls and ceilings.
I used this box to supply power to all of the echo dots I installed in walls and ceilings in my home. It worked great and installation was easy. Prior to installing, I set it up on a bench hooked up to an oscilloscope. The power was a clean, stable 12VDC. I reccomend this product.The negatives.The knockout holes are not standard 1/2 in so it may be difficult to find a suitable connector.If mounting on sheetrock wall, the anchors are useless and you will either need to buy new ones or make sure you can screw into studs behind the sheetrock.Be careful screwing in the power terminals. There is no support behind these terminals on the PC so the board flexes are you tighten the screws.Overall, great product for the money.
