So much better for my house layout
This Cell Booster dome ceiling antenna works so much better than my panel antenna. A panel antenna gives out a radiation pattern like a flashlight beam. Panel antennas have a stronger signal but are limited to the direction they point. The dome antenna has a different radiation pattern. If you cut a basketball in half and place that on the ceiling you will get the idea. The dome antenna radiates out in a 360 degree direction, and in all directions except up. Since I have a ranch style home this worked so much better for us. Surprisingly good in the downstairs game room too.To get the absolute most out of the antenna I used and purchased here on Amazon a WILSON-400 Ultra Low Loss Coax Cable.Cons: This antenna is harder to install as you have to run coax through the attic in my case, but was worth it! The looks is not the most astatic looking thing, but not that bad. See the pictures and you decide.Pros: Ability to use our cell phones anywhere in our home! Hope this helps you.

Poor value for money, available elsewhere (without the Wilson label) for a third of the price
It works but all these type of units are made in China and can be bought for a quarter of the price from (say aliexpress.com) and it is clear (because of the long lead time and the fact that identical units can be seen on aliexpress) that Wilson Electronics is buying these for $14 odd from China, trebling the price and selling them to us!! So, yes it works and no, it’s not the most attractive thing to mount on your ceiling but buying the Wilson product is wasting a lot of money for no benefit

Product was suppose to be white. It wasn’t. It was beige. Does not match white ceilings.
