Simple and effective
It’s a simple design that is strong enough to hold a sound bar. It can be slightly finicky trying to get everything back in place and symmetrical but once it’s together it works well. My only criticism is that it does not include provisions for bottom-mounted bars (like mine is of course). I had to find some small screws/nuts and drill two holes so I could attach the brackets that thankfully came with my sound bar.

Works, but be prepared to fiddle.
Overall, product functions as required. Installed, it’s a more sturdy than I expected. The product comes with a wealth of screws, washers, spacers, etc. That’s a good thing as you’re likely to need to get creative with the particular set that will work for your particular setup. It’s important to note that the directions should be regarded as “example installs”, at best. You will need to adjust most connections with washers/spacers. Note that the extension arms mount at a fixed angle only – they attach either straight or at a 45-degree angle. Would be far more flexible if adjustable.

Check the mounting holes on your speaker bar!
This is a great mount, but it didn’t work for my needs because my speaker bar only has threaded holes to secure bar to the mounting bracket on the bottom. I returned for a mounting setup with L-brackets to attach under my speakerbar.

It’s (almost) working
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because no matter how much I fiddle with the screws used to attach the bracket to TV mount, the bracket seems to slip a little down on one side a bit. Could be my mount, could be the bracket. I’m not sure, but it’s not that noticeable & it’s doing the job.

Took a bit to install along with tv wall Mount. Had to configure best way to attach to tv along with wall mount. Took tv off the wall and installed wall Mount and sound bar to the both the Mount and brackets.

For the cost, it works
Instructions aren’t great but it’s not like it’s a complex device. Needed to mount my sound bar at above my Sony 43” tv. This is for a HT-SD35 I bought used. Since the keyhole on the SD35 sits above a standoff which I didn’t want to just grind off. The bolts for the unit were nowhere near long enough to clear the standoffs so I had to buy an M4x20 bolt and two 4mm wingnuts so I could use it. For the price of the kit it’s still not bad compared to others but it does make the install harder. Since it’s not mounted to a wall I believe one could use a Dremel tool and grind it off but why should one have to.

Fits wide range of TV – soundbar combos
We liked the ability to mount the soundbar above the TV. Easy to install. We had to use the included washers/spacers for our TV. Didn’t like that soundbar moves slightly if touched after install, rather than remain firm. Have to keep rechecking if level / readjust.
