This might be the best microphone sets I have got.
I have used many microphone sets before, but they are all either specifically designed for iPhone with lighting receiver or Android with USB C receiver. So when using those type of microphones, I could only record video with my phones, or record only the voice and then do some post processing to put the audio track and the video flips by professional camera together. And this microphone set is the first one that has native support for professional cameras with a 3.5mm aux jack. What’s even better is that it also has a monitoring jack that you can listen to the captured sound in real time. This is really important, as the last thing that a vlogger wants to happen to us is that the captured sound is of bad quality and we were only able to realize it until after we got back home. So with the monitoring support, we can adjust the position or placement of the transmitter in real time and make sure that both transmitters are always operating in the best condition. This is something that none of my previous microphones could provide. I also want to mention the incredible battery life of it. I have been using the transmitter and receiver for 10 hours after unwrapping them without charging, and they are still has more than 10% of battery remaining. So this microphone easily outlasts all of my cameras. They provided us with a 3 in 1 usb c cable for charging all 3 devices simultaneously, which is a nice thing for them to do. And it’s also my first time to see such a cable. I would say it’s not necessary, as we all have plenty usb c cables ourselves. But using cable for charging instead of charging cases does provide us another convenience that we can actually use both transmitter and receiver while charging with a powerbank! This is significantly extends the possible stand by and working time of the transmitter and receiver, especially the receiver, since we can substitute the transmitter from time to time. Very good design and quality. But I would still like to ask the manufacturer to make adjustments to the storage case. Right now the case is obviously too small to hold the 3 devices as well as the accessories. And I am always worrying about losing and forgetting about some small parts. And a larger case should be an easy fix for this.

    Great Product As Advertised!!
Just what we needed for our Bishop to give his homily while walking around the Sanctuary. Clear audio … real difference maker for our videos!!

    High quality product.
I love the sound quality of the mic. Very comparable with similar branded products. Recommended.

  4. Amazon Customer

    Great customer support
After about a year, the receiver was stuck at start up so I contacted customer support. They responded pretty quickly and was kind enough to send me a new receiver.

[UPDATED] From 3 to 5. So I don’t know if I just got a faulty set or what, but…
(UPDATE 1: Synco has gotten in touch. They responded very quickly and courteously and have offered to work with me to help remedy this. Will keep you updated.)(UPDATE 2: Synco has advised that I may have received a defective unit, which happens, so they’ll be sending a replacement. Will see if issue persists.)(UPDATE 3: So I’ve been using the replacement set for about a year and it has had no issues, none of the issues I had before and nothing else. They’ve worked wonders in cold conditions, warm conditions, and all conditions in between. I’m now super happy with this set and will certainly consider getting another from Synco if I ever needed to.)So I don’t know if I just got a faulty set or what, but a few things here:A. The battery dies very quickly. I’m not joking, I took them off the charger, fully charged, used them for 20 minutes and the transmitter and receiver both showed at half.B. I cannot for the life of me get rid of an electrical sounding interference noise when using the wireless packs without a wired lapel mic plugged in. I have tried all the TRS cables that came with it, the one for the tablet, the one for the camera, and even just my own aux cable. Nothing fixes it. I have tried several tests both into a camera (Sony A7iii) and into a dedicated audio recorder (Zoom H5). 1. When recording into the camera, I use the supplied cable from receiver into the input on my camera. I start my tests at Camera Audio Recording level 10 and 0 gain on the transmitter and incrementally go up on gain on transmitter. 2. When recording into the Zoom H5, I have the recorder gain level at 5 (out of 10), recording in 48/24.I have tried all tests with both just the wireless pack’s built in mic and the wired lapel mic plugged in.My best results come with the wired lapel mic plugged in. It’s at least clean enough to use with minimal post. But anything using the built in mic on the transmitter pack is basically unusable for anything even semi-pro.When recording into the Zoom H5, I just hear a loud electrical sounding noise. I don’t want to say a humm because that conjure up a traditional humm, this is more like a dog whistle frequency sound. Super high pitched. When recording into the Sony A7iii, I hear it as well, albeit not as loud, but that’s replaced by a low level static. This really is disappointing because I’ve read and seen some really good things about this set. I sold my Rode Wireless Go (1) and hoping these would replace it, but I may be regretting my decision. I’ll try a few more things, but so far I’m more than a bit hesitant to use these and may rent a pack to use for a job I have coming up next week.Anyhow, will update review if I figure out how to make these usable.

    3.5 TRS cable
The TRS 3.5 cable does sound as a faulty on one channel of my camera. I tested it with another camera as instructed by the Synco customer service on another less expensive camera and it started to get hot (my camera) and then shut off the recording test. As of today I have not received any answer back by Synco.

Incredible package for the price – Competes with RODE’s Mic GO set
I was in the market for a solid wireless audio system, something easy and high quality like the RODE VideoMic GO set. I like RODE but sometimes I feel like I’m paying for the name rather than the internals. This was recommended to me and I’m glad I picked it up while on sale, because I am very impressed and satisfied.Extremely easy to use, turn it on, it auto-syncs, connect to the camera and talent, and boom you’re ready to roll. The hard-shell case is really nice and keeps everything safe and sound. The battery life has never left me worried or anxious.A BONUS surprise was the 3-headed single USB-C cable to be able to charge all three at the same time using only one cable/power brick. This is not only super useful for this product, but for charging any set of equipment after a shoot day. The RODE mics did not come with one of these when I’ve tried them in the past.

Very good sound quality and usability
As sound quality and usability were good, we liked and began to use.I think it just happened, but the switch on the B side was not working well, so I contacted CYNCO’s customer service.CYNCO customer service responded immediately and replaced the transmitter. The customer service responds quickly, so I would like to continue using the product with peace of mind. Also, I have become more and more a fan of CYNCO products.Thank you.
