Installation was simple and worked as expected. Based on other reviews, I got it working by setting the audio to PCM. And the volume of the microphone is indeed quite low.

  2. Michael Todd

    Easy setup, pretty decent microphones
We have a setup with a smart TV connected to a Sonos surround system. This was super simple to set up. Optical cord from TV to “in” on this unit, “out” optical from this unit to the Sonos. The microphones aren’t the greatest quality, but honestly much better than I was expecting.

  3. Norman

    Easy to connect

  4. Liam Smith

    Works great
We run the optical from the TV in, out to the sound system. If you do it this way, you have turn the volume down on your TV or else it causes a weird echo. That has nothing to do with this system but the TV itself and how I have it ran. This system works great, it’s not as sensitive as I would like it, but my voice is loud so I’m good.

  5. Arie

    Sing it on..
Easy to install, came with optical. Dont forget to read instuction..

  6. saru

    Delay
Experienced little delay when connected to external speaker , tv or mixer. Else not bad, easy to hook up with any device though.

  7. Denniscb500f

    Good value
Like the price. Good quality for karaoke

  8. Danilo Saracho

    Defective Microphone
I’m returning the product because one the wireless microphones is not working.

Easy setup – very noticeable delay – will return
Easy setup. I have optical from my tv and my soundbar. Setup takes as long as it takes you to plug in some cables. However, there is a very noticeable mic delay. Too noticeable to ignore in my opinion. Will return :/

    This is a delight
I ordered this for my living room. I liked that it was easy to connect between by Smart TV and my Bose 2.1 channel stereo (which were already connected with optical cables). I was delightfully surprised with how easy it was to setup and get working.I ended up running the mic gains at full and drawing back the music volume to get a blend I liked. But overall, the system is flawless. The microphones use standard AA batteries and connectivity has been solid. I’ve only used it a few days, and to be honest I kept all the packaging assuming I would be returning it. However the fun/cost ratio was so great, I decided to keep it.For songs we just use Youtube. Serach for “Karaoke {song name}” and you can get pretty much anything.Only two minor issues. I leave the system in line permanently. So this means it also acts as a flow through device for my cable box. The cable box outputs Dolby+ format. This device can’t understand Dolby+ so it doesn’t work. You need to set the cable box audio output to stereo. Since I have a 2.1 channel stereo, this is not a problem for me. If you’re rocking a big 7.1 system you may lose all your surround channels if this is in-line. Second issue is latency. The wireless mic has a very small latency… maybe 50 to 100ms. It’s almost undetectable, but it’s there. I assume this issue will exist in every low cost wireless mic. A wired mic wouldn’t do this. (you can add one).So overall, this has led to some happy times. I love the optical connections as it means no noise and I can use my existing expensive stereo system.
