Alright Little MicThis microphone is really not all that bad for the price point. We use it for reviews on our YouTube channel, and it’s a better option (because of our recording locations) than recording with a directional stand-mounted mic. This mic is highly-susceptible to cable and clothing noise, but that’s to be expected from a lav mic at this price point. The clip, as other reviewers have stated, is frankly quite horrible. It hasn’t yet broken, but I would not be surprised if it does sometime soon.

The microphone sounds great, but I wish they would include a quality …I just got this mic and upon using it for the first time to record a groom at a wedding, the clip snapped in half! The microphone sounds great, but I wish they would include a quality clip that doesn’t break IMMEDIATELY.

Best in class! This was a “great” replacement from the original mic system! I’m very happy with this purchase!

Tie clip and windscreen come off easily and get lostMy criticism is that the tie clip and windscreen came off almost immediately and were quickly lost. We use this this mic weekly for approx 1 hour by a “master of ceremonies” type of thing. The loss of clip + windscreen is a real pain and I would have gone with another manufacturer had I known of this issue as we have to attach it to the speaker’s lapel using a binder clip which looks cheap and is frankly embarrasing when given to a guest speaker. I have no problem with any other aspect of this mic or with the receiver. The manufacturer immediately agreed to send me a replacement clip for free as an “accomdation” which I appreciate, but they did not have any wind screens. I don’t know what I will do if (when?) the clip is lost again – I guess I’ll call the manufacturer and ask again. I have only used one other lavalier mic, from another manufacturer, and don’t have this problem.
