Great drone & dont need to pay thousands of $ to have one!
First of all this is only my 2nd Drone I’ve used. My first one was for “BEGINNERS” not even close. It wasn’t the worse I’ve seen. My brother-in-law had a couple that were really bad in my opinion. They were alot like mine where you spent more time trimming the drone than flying it. And then the battery wasn’t but about 7-10 minutes range. So when I decided I wanted to buy a new one I wanted to have at least a few things for sure.1. I dont want to fight the dang thing. This drone once you have done the proper calculations will fly in one spot & wont run off. Mind you it is in GPS mode. Which brings me to..2. GPS is a must now days with as much as drones can cost you & not to mention that it will make a beginner fell souch more confident & that’s worth a lot in itself.3. Like most drone today it has the take off & return to home function. It works pretty good. And I’m not saying perfect because I do live around alot of other people in an apartment complex. And them we have housing additions all around us. So you do get a little interfere with the wifi connection some…and u do mean some. Ive only had a problem 2 time’s & they both where just starting up waiting fir the connection between the controller & app. And it doesn’t land EXACTLY where it took off but withing 3-5 foot range which is just fine for me.4. I love that it has features that will allow you to set a perimeter qhere your drone will stay inside of. If you go outaide of it the drone will return to the set distance & height you chose. The best thing to start with until you have gotten use to your drone & it’s movement is to leave it in beginner mode. Which is set at 30m circle out & 30m up. Then there the gps map which you can got to and it will show you your area & so forth. With the GPS feature it will likeost drones return if your battery gets low or you controller losses signal. Once the controller reconnects your back in the game. Also in GPS mode if for some reason you have your drone out of site which is easy to do anymore due to the compact size of them & it goes down you can go to your settings & push findy drone & go right to it. I gave this a try on purpose & worked great.5. And I do have a Galaxy S10 but it works great with it & something worth mentioning that i rarely ever see anyone post or write a review on is I use a pay the month service! I have Straight Talk & I have the cheapest plan for unlimited text data ect. And Ive had no issues with it at all. So people who dont want to ask or fell like people will look down on them I’m here & Im telling you for a fact I use a prepaid service & no problem!!6. The controller is not bad at all it rather easy to use & the App for the drone also is. It does take a little time to get use too.7. Laat thing i will be mentioning is the battery life of this drone. I have check it many times & i always have the camera running and taking pictures and so forth… i will get about 15min if uaing video the whole time. If im just taking pics & flying it’s about 20-23min. And ive looked around & have friends with money & unless you are going to spent a ton of money that isn’t bad it comes with 2 batteries & the controller is rechargeable. And they use a very common usb charging cord. I want yobsay it came with the galaxy s8 note but not positive. But i have changes the batteries up everytime when im done using it and it down completely & it take about 1 hour for me! Now i have many usb ports in my apartment & they range from the lost charge rate to highest literally. And so long as you dont go over i believe its 5v you wont have an issue. They only give you 1 usb cable so be sure to see what all you have & mire than likely you will have some usb cords that will worl for this drone & its batteries. But be sure to ready the directions first. So long as you follow the directions and don’t misuse your drone this bad boy will give you plenty of fun time’s. If you take your drone out of GPS mode be sure your in an open area because it may need to have some trimming done. But if your able to handle it this drone it can go rather fast when end sport mode. But again no gps so you wont be able to look it up on your phone should it go down. And it is VERRRRYYY sensitive when in spot mode. You will need the instructions for trimming this drone it’s different on which buttons to push where so on…..The camera is good quality it is very nice. I dont know if its 4k due to my phone but I have a 4k tv & cp so I will put them on them & see if it’s true 4k. The video does better than i expected the Gimbal really does a hreat job of keeping it from shaking & jumping. The zoom in & oit works but for me it was lagging a bit & the movement of the camera (up and down) wasn’t bad either. It done really well. Again with as many people around me using 5g it’s going to happen. For those thinking they need 5g network no you don’t its just the channel for lack of a better word. Its 4am & i haven’t had any sleep so thats why my review is all over the place & im sure i misspelled words or hit wrong button. If you have a cell phone that can run the app then it will run the drone as well. (Ruko Drone) is the App for those that want to see if its compatible with there phone’s. Google play & it is the first one i believe. There isn’t obstacle avoidance on this drone. And i didnt want it. Because if your running in low light or dark those drones do horrible, I’ve seen it happen with at least 3 people i watched do it. And i was flying mine no problem in low light. Now i do not recall if this drone has lights on while flying…it will start flashing when the battery gets low. But to my point a lot of the times it would see something wayyy off & go wherever it wanted & again i seen 3 do this. Not saying rhere bad drones just not for me. And the last functions I will talk about are the follow me, gesture picture taking and video, points of interest and i can’t remember what the last one is called but i do know what it does. All of these can only be done in GPS mode. What it does is you can take your drone & for example fly right above you then click i want to say it’s orbit (i pretty sure just look at features) after clicking orbit fly the drone with right joy stick backwards (i prefer) however for you want your drone to be to video you or take pictures & it will literally fly a complete circle around whatever you set as your center point at & if you want it to stop just move your joystick. It does work & i never had any issues. The follow me isn’t to bad. And i say that due to tress ect. So long as theres nothing it can hit it will follow you & again worked great. No issues. The gestures were different it says that you can have it pointed down at you and make a pease song & then it will count down from 3 & take a pic. Well what i have fount for me personally it had to be pretty dang close to work I mean like 5yds &10yds was about the furthest it could do the picture for me. And sometimes it would take it further out but most time got to be close. Now then the gesture video was way better all you got to do it have it pointing at you & hold up your hand as if you were saying stop ✋ it will count down from 3 & record. The last feature I tried but didn’t use it but couple time’s….you must again use GPS and then go to your map’s in the Ruko App & you can set up to 16 points. Then tell the drone to go & it will go directly to each point. (Straight to them!!) And it worked great also. I only used 3 points but it went right to them & i do me straight to it. But i had the video running & it was pretty cool! So i am looking forward to using a bunch of way points & have the video running!! Im a avid Deer hunt & I’m in a wheelchair, it can be challenging to hunt some day’s. And this is the reason I bought this Drone the features were perfect for what I was looking for. The area’s I hunt can be hard to get to & there’s also a large cut-over which now is a big pine tree thicket. I have a 4 way cut in the center. The main trail goes from the road all the way into a crrek bottom. At about the half way point I had a friend cut me lanes running the other 2 directions.(the lanes made were already there they had just grown-up brush…no young tree’s were cut, in fact that is why 1 of the lanes isnt long at all! But O dont cute tree’s or would want anyone too) i love hunting the bottoms & I can use my drone slowly to go across the creek where i can’t go & see the deer trails & signs. And when im hunting the 4 lanes ive always told my love ones i wonder if there are some trails & open spots threw out this large are. Now I’m able to set the up to 16 points and let its record as it goes. Then I can move & zoom the camera as needed. Or just let it go & watch. The reason this is so big is the deer won’t pay any attention to a drone way up in the air. And i will be able to see the lanes and thin areas threw my hunting spots. And probably the best thing is I can share the video on my 4k t.v. with my sister’s & there kid’s (and 1 of my Nephews and one of my niece’s love to go with.) And they all get so excited when they see the deer! So for those people out there that think there just toys think again they can be used for many good things & even help a family become even closer. This drone has opened up possibilities for me that I haven’t had in years due to getting older & the wheelchair breaking my body down physically and mentally. I will end this book(lol) with this. If your looling for a drone that has the best there is to offer for a really good price this is the one you want. $400-$500 depending on the deals & what all comes with. Compared to a drone that might be a little better on some areas & i do mean little that will run you upwards of $1,000- $2,000 on the low end. This drone can do it all! If your worried about flying time buy an extra battery, & really its a great idea to. This drone also comes with a compact case with plenty of room for a 3rd battery. AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THIS DRONE JUST LIKE THE HIGH $ ONES IS FOLDABLE! And they also back there products & money back guarantee as well & factory warranty is also available. Its a great all around drone. I will be buying another drine at some point for family & friends. Good luck & have fun!!

Good drone, but know the pros and cons!
After having the Ruko F11 Gim drone in my cart for a while and watching the price I finally jumped as it dropped due to a $70 coupon. I bought the F11 Gim Drone on 2/10/2021, but due to the weather here in New England I really didn’t get to use the drone until the second week in March. We have had lots of snow and wind and I didn’t want to fly my first drone in that weather not knowing its capabilities. I was able to use the drone for about a week before I ultimately returned it due to my return window closing. I would have liked more time with the drone to see if downfalls were outweighed by the positives, but it would have been an expensive keep if ultimately I didn’t enjoy it. So in full disclosure, I no longer have this drone in my possession as it has been returned.I am just your average guy with a little R/C experience. I have had some cars, toy copters, and an inexpensive mostly indoor mini drone. I have been watching this drone because I wanted to get into a drone with good abilities at a decent price; all of which this drone meets. I really wanted a drone that did great still pics and good 4k video as I want to some day start a small business that would require arial footage.Let’s talk about some general things first:1. Never having flown a drone before it took me a while to figure out how to calibrate it before each flight. Ultimately, watching a video from Ruko and looking at my phone during the calibration process (as it shows you what to do) made it easy.2. Not a pro or a con, but make sure you have a charger as one is not included. Charging times vary depending on which wall brick you use. I used a Samsung charging brick from my S8 and it took more than a few hours from low battery.3. I didn’t experience the “toilet bowl” effect mentioned in some review videos, but I didn’t have much time with the drone to see if that would happen.4. There is no collision avoidance. This is not a con because you are paying for a drone that is half the price or more of other drones that have that feature. It is something to note however if you are concerned with running into things.5. I didn’t have a chance to try out the different modes; follow me/rotate around/waypoint. So, I really can’t comment on those, but there are video reviews out there on this.6. One battery was really enough for my flights, but maybe if the camera was better I would have flown longer, who knows.7. Max SD card is 128gig formatted in FAT32. I could see where that might be a problem to some people, but I didn’t have an issue with it. Sure, I’d like the ability to have a larger card in there, but this really is not a con to me.8. I didn’t get to try the return to home function, so I also can’t comment on how well that worked.Pros of the F11 Gim:1. It comes in a great storage case that is well laid out and holds all the parts perfectly. I was very appreciative of this as it kept everything I needed all together2. Easy to set up. Everything you need is right there. Just charge the batteries and the remote.3. Easy to connect to phone. Following the directions, turn on the drone, then the remote and then the app. Connect to Wi-Fi and you are good to go.4. The camera gimbal lets your rotate up and down. This allows you to get interesting shots from different altitudes.5. It takes “4k” video….sort of6. Super easy to fly. I flew in pretty gusty conditions and the drone worked great. I was a little nervous as the winds really started kicking up, but the drone was still flyable7. 3 modes/speeds that are easy to change right on the controller. Camera/Normal/Sport, each is progressively faster8. Beginner mode. Limits the drone to 30m altitude and 30m distance. You get a verbal warning when you try to fly out of that range and the drone quickly and abruptly returns to the 30m distance. Once you are ready you can set the distance and altitude further and higher in one meter increments. This really helps your ability to learn how to fly further and further out9. The controller was super comfortable to use. It has plenty of features, but what I really liked were the two buttons and wheels on top of the controller. The two buttons were for taking a photo and starting/stopping video. This made it incredibly easy to do without taking my hands off the controls to reach for the app. The wheels zoom in and rotate the camera up/down. Also right in reach and super easy to use over the app. Keeping your hands on the controls and being able to do this function was a huge positive.10. Can turn off GPS, but not recommended.11. Great battery life. I feel like I flew for a long time and didn’t have an issue with battery draining out on me. It was enough that I felt the flight time was adequate for what I was doing.12. I did like that the app tracked my flights and I could even see in google maps where I was.Cons of the F11 Gim:1. The camera gimbal would go crazy at times. It would move uncontrollably fast in all directions trying to maintain level I guess. I would have to shut down the drone to get it back.2. Leveling the camera was very difficult. Even on a flat surface the gimbal would stay tilted to one side and it would take either multiple times trying to calibrate or shutting the drone down and starting up again.3. My still shots were not that great. I took shots on the move and holding the drone as still as possible. But, it seems ANY sort of movement really made the shots look bad and blurry. The still shots, even when not moving, didn’t seem that great of quality. They seemed highly compressed.4. The “4k” video definitely looked better than 1080p, and it registers as 4k, but it doesn’t really look that great. The video had lots of artifacts and looked VERY compressed especially as you got close to objects. Video from 30m up looked okay, but just not a real 4k. After doing some research my guess is that the camera is not a true 4k camera, but a 1080p that is upscaling at a low bit rate. I can’t confirm that, but it definitely seems that way.5. When you take a still shot the app makes shows a radial countdown that freezes the screen for a few seconds. This means that you only have line of sight on the drone. If you are a distance away and not in line of sight, you don’t have any visual on what is happening until the picture is done.6. On one occasion I couldn’t get the GPS to lock in. I am not sure if it was because my phone was low on battery or it was the drone. I tried redoing the calibration multiple times in multiple spots without success. I even swapped out to a new battery without luck.7. I tried to find a way to change the resolution of the camera, but it seems that it is locked. There was no way to change the 4k to 1080p to see if it was any better. My conclusion:In the end I returned the drone, but it was with great reservation as I really wanted more time and I really wanted to like the drone. I didn’t have a chance to try out the different modes, follow me/rotate around/waypoints, as I had wanted. In the end, even though the above pros outnumbered the cons, the camera issues were the deal breaker. If the camera issues were addressed, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this drone again and recommend it to anyone looking to get into the drone market. I guess I want it all at an affordable price 😊

Solid and capable drone but beware of Return to Home “features”
I will preface the review and indicate that this is my third quadcopter drone, but I still consider myself a novice. My first was a Quark Micro Drone completely manually controlled drone. It is an indoor auditorium/gymnasium drone or possibly an outdoor drone if there is absolutely zero wind. Anything beyond that, mother nature controls your drone, you do not. It still functions to this day and never replaced a prop or broke anything. The second is a Potensic D85 drone. Definitely more than a step up. It has some quirks, especially during take off and the wind could drive it unpredictably some times. The return to home is pretty solid if you get into to trouble mostly. Trees are definitely your enemy. Don’t take of near them. Think Charley brown and the kite eating tree. All of my crashes have been tree branch related, where I disregarded taking off close (within 30 feet) of any/all trees. All my crashes were wind related where the drone was being moved by wind currents. Ground level wind and above treeline/building wind are way different. Transitioning between them is always a challenge. Return to home is nice, but once in one of these challenging situations where your are suddenly restricted in your options, do use it. In almost all cases, it is better to just shut off all drone motors and let gravity take over to get you out of the situation than to press it. Get below tree branches or structures, then hit power and try to reduce the effects of gravity, if possible. Having props hit objects and sending it bolting in unpredictable directions will limit your options to a fragile pinball waiting for the scene of the crash. One of branch/prop hitting situations involved the D85. A solid drone, but from 30 feet high, an entire arm of the quad copter broke cleanly off. A few drops of Clear JB Weld later, and the same drone was back in the air flying like new. I didn’t even need to replace the dinged up props. It flew predictably, but I still ended up replacing them out of an abundance of caution. That brings me to my third quadcopter drone The Ruko F11Gim drone. Everything about it including the case is professional, well made, and well thought out. It is a little trickly to pair depending on your device. If you have a table without 5Gig WIFI, forget trying to attempt to pair it. Pairing is a little finicky, you always have to do so in this order. Drone on flat surface, don’t touch it. Turn on remote control next, Pair with phone next. Do these in any different order is an exercise in frustration. Nothing will be easy. Once paired, setting up the drone and calibrating the drone are a little order dependent and finicky (you will end up turning off the drone and starting over) but easy to get through again once you work through it once. Make sure the controller stays in its default “NORMAL MODE” (slower responding and more forgiving mode). First flight to around five feet was very stable and easy to maneuver and rotate with no issues. Don’t let that fool you into complacency. The second maneuver is just going from a hover and simply sending up at increasing altitudes to see how things respond to the current weather conditions. Okay up to a point, until the drone decides to float in an uncommanded direction towards said trees, probably interacting with upper winds. This is where the easy way out should not involve return to home. Return To Home does two irreversible things. First, it sends it to an altitude higher that you are normally at, to basically attempt to put it above obstacles. It does absolutely nothing for you if there are any obstacles above said drone location, such as tree branches or out croppings. Second, it doesn’t put you directly over your home position, but puts it in some circle away from your home location and slowly brings it back it. Neither of these are good for a tight landing location. If their are trees around your home location, Return to Home might as well mean send me to tree and hope for the best. My initial reaction to hit the Return To Home button to address the uncommanded drone movement (wind related) was a bad one. It sent it into the path of a tree, then up through its branches. No drone propeller likes branches nor can it fly stably through them. The Ruko F11 GIM is no exception. Return to home sent up through said tree branches, pinballing through said tree branches while attempting to stabilize itself as it fell and crashed atop my roof upside down. Not a good experience for rotating props that continued to rotate well after the crash. The Return to Home feature managed to keep the drone from falling all the way to ground level vs the top of my roof and some damage, but there was some damage. The drone arms are very solid and with stood the impact. One of the clear caps where the flashy red/blue lights was knocked off. A drop or so of clear JB weld solved that problem. What couldn’t be solved was while the camera was not directly impacted, the shock of the impact damaged the panning up/down feature. It no longer moves vertically. In all other respects, the camera works fine, the zoom works fine, image is clear, no damage to lens, just no camera movement up or down. Not sure its camera is its best feature now, but still works and is fun to fly.As with most things, you learn more when things don’t work right that when everything works perfectly, but any drone crash is unpredictable and is to be expected. There is no collision avoidance. Any feature used such as follow me will also mean follow me into a building, tree, or bridge (if driving in a car with follow me) if common sense is not used. Probably if you are in a car using follow me, you are not using common sense. How many YouTube videos are out there doing just that? Quite a few!!

Little changes can make a HUGE difference
This is my second drone, my first being an F11 Pro which I LOVE!!! Since this is essentially an updated version of the Pro, rather than repeating that review (which you can find on the product page by searching “fun little drone!”) I thought I’d just cover the changes/improvements.The most noticeable difference is the changes to the camera. On the Pro model, the camera is attached directly to the body of the drone. While this doesn’t have much of an effect on taking stationary pictures, it does impact the video. Sudden movements make the camera bob (think of how hitting the gas or brake on a car causes your head to move), which at times made navigating by video a little disorienting. The gimbal setup on this model helps to counteract this so that you get a lot smoother video. One thing I think is worth noting is that gimbal can make the camera feel a bit flimsy as it lets the camera move freely (which is the entire purpose of the gimbal). When I first removed the camera cover, I thought I had broke it.In terms of the quality of the video feed, all I can say is WOW! I’m sure how to put it in words, but the best example I can think of is going from SD to HD TV: you don’t realize what you’re missing with standard tv until to see the capabilities of HDTV. As for pictures, the overall quality has also improved, although I didn’t notice as much of an improvement as I did with the video. I primarily only used the Pro’s camera to take pictures of my home’s roof to check for hail damage, so the camera was sufficient for me, but the photos did suffer from some fisheye distortion around the edges. The Gim’s camera no longer suffers from the fisheye effect. One nice addition is that the camera now has a zoom feature of up to 5x, meaning that you don’t have to fly as near to (and risk crashing the drone into) your subject to get a close up picture. While you can fly the drone with the controller alone, you will certainly want to use the companion app to get the best experience. Previously Ruko used a somewhat generic app that supported several different drone models, but now has its own branded app that exclusively supports F11 series drones. The overall interface looks essentially the same, but they have added a few new features like being to add music to your videos and filters to your photos. The app also has voice alerts that let you know things like if you drone is getting out of distance or the battery is running low. There are likely a few other new features in the app, but I haven’t had time to fully dive into it yet.The controller has been slightly redesigned. In my personal opinion I like the feel of the Pro controller better; however, the Gim controller offers some nice new features which more than make up for the it. Rather than just having a few indicator lights, the Gim’s controller has icons which match those used within the app. I found this to be pretty handy as it allowed me to quickly glance at the controller rather than having to find the icons on the phone screen which can be hard to see at times (no fault of the drone; sunlight just makes phones hard to see at times.) One thing they didn’t change is that the phone mount of the controller pushes the on/off button on the side of my phone. This is mostly a minor inconvenience as all you have to do is place the phone slightly off-center.In terms of performance, the Gim has a greater broadcast distance than the Pro. I can’t say for certain how much farther because I lost sight of the drone, but fortunately one press of the “Return Home” button brought it back. The drone’s top speed has also been increased. According to the specs the Pro’s top speed is 26.8 mph whereas the Gim’s top speed is about 33.5 mph. I don’t have a radar gun to verify these speeds, but I can easily tell that the Gim is faster. The maximum supported onboard micro SD card size has been increased from 32 GB to 128 GB. This wasn’t very important to me because I use an old cell phone to run the drone app and the pictures & videos are saved to phone’s memory rather than bother with an SD card, although now that I’ve seen what the camera it may come in handy as I do more recording and take a lot more pictures. One thing that hasn’t changed that I feel is worth noting is the instruction manual (which, by the way, you can download on this page). Although it explains the basics of how to do things, it doesn’t go into much detail. You’ll definitely want to check out some of the online videos; otherwise you’ll likely be like I was initially with the Pro and miss out on a lot of cool features. That pretty well covers the differences I noticed between the Pro and the Gim. So which one is right for you? That depends. If your budget is tight or you plan on maybe flying the drone a few times before it ends up in the closet collecting dust, stick with the Pro as it is still a fun little drone. Otherwise you’ll definitely want to go with the Gim as the new/improved features make for a far more enjoyable experience. Either way, in my opinion the F11 series of drones are a great entry into the world of flight.

Hands down, The best drone for the money.
Ruko F11 GIM Drone ReviewBefore I get started. I’m 52 years old and flying this drone had to be one of the funniest thing I have done in a long time.Cost: Amazon $287 plus $16 off coupon. (Lightning Deal)Shipment: Recieved from Amazon in one day. (Prime)Box Opening:Packaged very well. The box itself has good graphics with shrink wrap around the box. The drone case is covered with a zip lock bag. What’s in the Box:The F11 GIM case is a semi rigid hard case with a double zipper, its super nice. The case is molded so the drone, controller and battery fits securely in the case with a zipper compartment for added accessories.Instruction Booklet(s): (English)Disclaimer and Saftey Guidelines.Quick Start GuideUser ManualF11 GIM DroneController2 Batteries2 USB B cables4 Extra PropsExtra Screws and Allen Wrench.Suggestions:I watched just about every YouTube video before I purchased the drone. I thought I could just pull the drone out of the box and fly. The only problem, is that I was forgetting basic simple steps. So, for the best performance read the user manual before flying and get familiar with the remote and drone. @s It’s super simple and and easy for beginner pilots to fly but it’s all in the details of the instructions. Example: I kept turning on the remote first and then the drone, which kept the two from up.First and Second Flight:My first flight was a little rough as I did not read the instructions as I explained above. My second flight was probably the most fun I have in long time. Just flying the drone gave me this unexplained feeling of excitement with a big smile on my face. I’m new to the hobby, so learning the controls will take a little time to master but that’s on me and not the remote. I cannot wait to take it out again tomorrow. The two batteries lasted approximately 60 minutes. It’s was windy today, about 15 mph winds. The drone was stable and flew fantastic. The drone will be in beginner mode as a defualt and will shorten the flying range, which I totally recommend for a Newby. Once you get more comfortable you can turn off the begginer mode and set custom parameters.GPS Follow Me worked as described.Image Follow is a really cool function and worked well.Return to Home, Low Battery Return to home, landed within 3 feet of the launch site.Because the F11 GIM is heavier than .55 LBs, make sure you register your drone through the FAA. The registration cost $5 and you’ll get a registration number which needs to be placed on your drone. Also you need to take the TRUST test which is also easy and it’s free. The drone is built very well. The remote is very nice and the screen is easy to read even in the sun. The app is well designed and walks you through step by step. Just remember to read the directions. The drone is super fun to fly, easy for beginners like myself. After reading the instructions it was super easy to fly and I can’t wait to fly it again soon.Hands down the best drone for the money.

This is my second unit of RUKO F11 GIM. I’d gladly review (again) to share with everyone, this is an amazing drone!LEVELIf you’re planning to get a beginner drone or you’re upgrading to a more advanced drone, this is a perfect unit. By default is set to the beginner’s mode so you can learn and master the control. For the more advanced user, you can unleash the maximum distance, altitude, and sport mode.CONTROLLERThe remote control has a grip to let you attach a smartphone on top. It has an extension in the bottom so you can handle (grasp) the controller better. The battery lasts very long. Never tested it, but I’ve never experienced low batt or warning after a few days of flying.Flying modes: Cinematic (slow), Normal, and Sport. GPS signal strength indicator. Photo/video shutter button. Vertical gimbal and non-optical zoom trimmers are located conveniently on the tip of the controller.APPSIntuitive and easy to understand for beginner or advanced users. It has some pre-programmed tricks such as orbit, follow-object, follow-GPS mode, and others. Flight and raw logs are stored. They’re accessible even when the drone is off.PERFORMANCEThis is not a light drone, so please check with your local authority and make sure you register the unit. The good thing about this weight, it is very stable when the wind gust blows a bit stronger. I flew this on the mountain in winter and a windy conditions near the beach so many times. I’m impressed with the capability to hold and hover. The Return To Home (RTH) function is amazing. The drone will return to where it launched with a few feet of precision. It lands steady and slowly above the point. And, you can help to control the x and y axis (right-controller) to get a precise location. You could also use the hand-capture technique when you become familiar with it.SUPPORTI’d give it 10 out of 10 stars. Why? They are very responsive and willing to help in any situation. I contacted them in the beginning when I had a problem with the battery, and got a replacement without any issues. The second one was when I lost the drone. The replacement unit arrived in just a few days. Check out the CARE Refresh program. Kudos to the team!CONCLUSIONIf you don’t want to spend a fortune on a drone but you want a quality one, this is the perfect one. Very fun to play with. So far, I’ve never experienced a technical problem with this unit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!DISCLAIMER- Drone has FAA registration.- Comply and log every flight using B4UFLY or AirMap apps.

Very entertaining and easy for a beginner.
This is the first drone I have ever bought. After reading a lot of reviews, it seemed like a good drone for a beginner. They weren’t lying, this drone is very easy to figure out and easy to control. The camera works very well and takes excellent pictures/videos. Me being a beginner I put it in sports mode while still below tree level (I wasn’t expecting it to go as fast as it did) and crashed it right into a tree. The drone is pretty tough, only two of the propeller blades were damaged. The drone came with replacement blades(thank you so much for that) they were easy to install and I was back to flying within 30 minutes. The drone came packaged very well with clear instructions on how to set everything up. Very pleased with my purchase and will definitely buy from this manufacturer again.

    🫶Great customer service!!!
This is my first drone. After learning and being very comfortable with it, I pushed the envelope today taking lakefront pictures. Long story short, the battery ran down and the drone immediately returned home. My mistake was not having clearance above my takeoff, so on return it hit a branch then crashed.I thought I was sunk, and reached out to customer service (on a Saturday) for direction for repairs. They offered to send me a new replacement drone!!! So awesome, and I so appreciate their understanding…and support of my novice, but improving, pilot skills. So happy that I bought this drone. I love it, and the customer service just makes it that much more pleasant.MDY

    First drone purchase
I did a lot of research before purchasing my first drone. ALOT! Most every article I read about the best drones on the market, RUKO was mentioned. I finally picked up the F11 GIM on here and have been thoroughly impressed. The ease of startup, and flying have been a breeze. The pics and vids are super clear. This drone has made for some great content on our social media pages. I highly recommend this company and drone in particular.

    Awesome Drone!
Bought it to introduce myself and family members to drone technology. Thought it would be a good ‘middle of the road’ option. Had it for several years now and it does everything you’d imagine, easy to control with joysticks, takes video, still photos and will return to take off position if you lose communication or battery runs too low. Goes a long way and stays operational with power for a pretty long time, up to 1/2 hour but I’ve never completely drained the battery. I believe you can also program it to ‘follow’ you although I haven’t tried that option. The only thing it doesn’t do that would be helpful is avoid trees and other obstacles automatically. Loads of fun, especially with kids but with supervision.
