There are probably a lot of better quality lights available for large venues and professional use…that said this is a fun light for most anyone looking to have that club light feel in a small and affordable package.The kit comes with everything you need to get up and running. You can control it with the buttons on the back of the device to some extent but there are more options when you use the remote.This RGB can really go through almost any color you want. It is fairly bright and will focus most of the light in a smaller area but the light does fill up a space of angled properly.If you want to really set it and forget it, the light has a number of sound modes that will let you focus on the event rather than what the light is doing.The built in battery is a nice touch too. There is a fan to cool off the lamp that seems to only activate when needed. The plastic casing for the light keeps the cost down but will not dissipate heat as well as a metal shell would.There are 3-pin DMX slave & master ports on the back that let you chain several lights together and use one controller for all. I wish the ports came with covers but it is a small thing that is not likely to bother many people.At $55 MSRP it’s not a bad choice for a party light.
