Great sound, annoying design
I’m pleased with the features and the sound quality, especially at this price. But this amplifier has some really annoying behaviours. I contacted Pyle support and they confirmed: yep, that’s how it is. No way to change it.I wanted to put this amp out of sight and out of reach. I was going to control it exclusively from Bluetooth. This will not work. I can power it on and off by using a WiFi enabled electric socket. But when it comes on, it always starts set to Line-In. I MUST use the remote or physical buttons to select Bluetooth EACH time I turn it on. it doesn’t remember that it was on Bluetooth when I turned it off.Secondly, the bluetooth devices can control volume. So I was going to set the hardware volume knobs quite loud, and use the volume control on my phone to adjust how loud it is. I’ll just leave the knobs turned loud all the time. It does work this way. But the amplifier makes a chirp when it connects to a phone. And if your volume knobs are turned really loud, that chirp is really loud. You can’t disable the chirp and you can’t control the volume of it. When my music starts, it plays at a lower, tolerable volume. But that “chirp” connecting to the phone is really loud.Third, since the remote is a traditional infrared remote, you must have line of sight to the amplifier to use it. Nevermind that Bluetooth doesn’t need line of sight, this dumb remote does. I was going to put the amp in an out-of-the-way place where it wouldn’t be seen, but I can’t use the remote if I do that.Lastly you can’t pair your device with the amplifier until the amplifier is set on Bluetooth. In theory, they could have the Bluetooth always listening, always ready to pair, and then have the device automatically switch to Bluetooth if you start playing on Bluetooth. So electronically, it’s great. I love the range of features. But I was mostly interested in Bluetooth, and it’s a real let-down there.

Great for price
Sound quality is good for price, features are good but no stereo, power cord is not deattachable, remote is nearly useless.

Wow… I’m impressed!
I got this for 6 different audio zones in my house and it works perfectly! I’m able to set base volume levels as I prefer in each room and then I use an Echo to pumped audio into it and it sounds great. I’ve got different speakers in each zone, from Polk to cheap speakers and they all sound great.

FM jack is throw back from the 70’s!!
No balance control , no favorites on fm no stereo beacon to tell if the fm signal is strong, fm antenna jack is a throw back from the 1970’s if I didn’t have an adapter I would have been stuck with the little wire one that comes with it,other that that ,, plenty of power! Rocks my 4 speakers in my garage !!

Affordable solution to whole house sound
Very affordable and all the features I need. BT to smart tv, 6 channels for whole house sound system. Replaced a receiver and a passive switch box with new technology! Love auto pairing with BT

Sound everywhere without having a mixer!
My Problem…I have speakers all over the place… Two behind my pool, two on my back patio, four in my house spaced out… Either you run multiple mini-amps to each… OR you get something like this! This monster will give you complete control to up to 6 different channels. (12 speakers in total.) This is more than most home configurations will ever need.My configuration is running about 200+ ft of copper / speaker wire per. Each line dedicated per speaker…Simple plug and go, adjust sound with knobs. Plenty of sound control beyond just normal volume knobs. Even works as a decent sound system for TV’s, Projectors, and other situations. (Not a surround sound type system…)Overall I could not be more pleased with how this has made my life easier when wanting to listen to music ALL over my property. Neighbors were a bit frustrated so I have had to learn to control and point speakers. I am working on balancing this a bit more so that I can have more coverage around my pool area.Only issues are…1) No ability to control volumes per channel without manually adjusting. (Solution adding volume knobs and other controls outside of this device…)2) Cannot adjust bass, treb, etc per channel. Its all or nothing which isn’t bad, but would be nice to adjust…3) No app or far away controls. (I use an Alexa plugged in using auxiliary cable… This way I can control certain aspects via my phone…)Even with these three main things… Its still a no brainer. The cost of this beats out just about everything else on the market. Even the other ones on the market do not have the controls this one does.

Quirky, but almost perfect for my application BUT…..
Ten month update – the unit quit working. It acts like a fuse blew, but there is no user replaceable fuse. Pyle’s warranty requires me to pay for shipping both ways. This alone is over half of the cost of a new unit. I still like the concept, and haven’t found anything else like it. I am unsure if I will replace it or not. Pyle, up your game, please.Six month update – I had an intermittent speaker short that turned out to be a defective speaker wire clamp, which fell apart when I was investigating. Pyle’s warranty offer was for me to ship the unit to them at my expense and wait 4-6 weeks for repair. I’m not sure I care to dismantle my audio setup and go without any music for that long. I use this unit all day, every day. I can’t say a lot about their customer service, either. I started my initial warranty request several months ago, but they kept closing the support ticket and losing my proof of purchase. I feel like Pyle’s warranty policy is set up to discourage claims. This is odd because a prior issue with them was handled quite differently.Original review (update – I still like the unit other than the concerns above): I bought this amplifier to drive a whole house speaker system drawing audio from my media computer to distribute to speakers in various locations. I was able to use it to replace an old amp and a passive speaker switch box that resulted in very uneven audio through the house. The totally cool thing about this amp is that there are SIX channels with independent volume controls. This lets me manage the volume for each location separately, which helps with varied speaker efficiency, room characteristics, and the preference of the listener in that part of the house. The odd thing about the amp is that there are mic inserts that appear to be intended for a PA. I think the primary market for this amp might be a commercial one such as a restaurant or store where a PA might be useful. The sound quality is good, but when I’m running moderately high volume in many locations the cooling fan cycles on and off loudly. If Pyle could ever marry this with the more efficient and quieter class D amps, that would be a much better product. The only other quirk is that the dials and face on the unit are 100% black, so it’s hard to see the volume settings. We put white paint in the notches on the volume dials to make them more visible. The power light is piercing blue, which is kind of annoying, but at the same time, easy to spot when we forgot and left the amp on.All in all, this is a nice, economical option for a multi-zone setup where you can adjust the volume from one spot.
