Excellent simple to use product, value for money. It’s an excellent product, value for money. I have been able to replace a reputed brand sound mixer with this simple equipment. I take singing lessons on Zoom. Now with the help of the sound card, my teacher at the other end gets the same effect of musical instruments as i do. It is like virtually sitting in front of each other. Thank you Pyle for a great, simple and convenient product.

It works for online meetings like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.I wanted to use the Pyle Mini Audio Podcast Mixer for online meetings (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) but was fuzzy on whether it would work for me. I didn’t care about the voice changing. I just wanted to use the sound effects. After some trial and error, I got it to work. Yea! I even connected my iPhone via bluetooth and played additional sounds using an app called ‘SoundBoard’.The hookup is not clear but here is what I did.1. Connected the supplied USB cable from the ‘Charging’ connection on the PYlE to my Windows 10 computer. My computer recognized the Output as ‘Speakers (HiFi Audio)’ and Input as ‘Microphone (HiFi Audio)’. (both input and output are through this single USB cable)2. Connected my headset (headphones and attached mic) using a splitter cable (not supplied). The splitter cable separates the headphones and mic into two connections. I connected the splitter headphone side to ‘Headset’ on the PYLE. I connected the splitter mic side to ‘Condenser mic’ on the PYLE. (note: I had to turn up the MIC knob to about 3/4)The monitor knob is set to about 2/3 and I can hear fine. That’s it! When you join a meeting, just make sure that ‘Speakers (HiFi Audio)’ and ‘Microphone (HiFi Audio)’ are selected. When the PYLE is on, short press the Power button once and if you have your headset on, you will hear “Bluetooth is on”. You can then pair your smartphone (iPhone in my case). It will show up as ‘Pyle BT’ when pairing. Then play sounds from your phone and it will be sent to the PC.Have fun!

Not worth itNeat sounds but that’s about it. Volume knob is practically does nothing, and with bass and treble knob. The voice changer is horrible sounding. Customer service is rude and unhelpful! Pyle used to be decent and I used to even buy some of their speakers, however my last experience with customer service I’ll never buy any Pyle product again nor any product under or above the umbrella of Pyle.

Complicated to set up (at least for me)I decided to give this product a try because Pyle is a popular brand while this is an affordable sound mixer. However, after receiving the product, it took me about 30 minutes to set up and still no sound. I think they require more wiring that I need to order separately. The wiring and set up seems complicated and not as simple as it described.

NiftyIt’s a neat little sound card. If you’ve seen other V8 live cards, it’s essentially a premium rendition of that— PYLE’s instruction manual is a lot clearer on what does what, though. It’s super handy for a karaoke setup should you have an older dynamic mic and a speaker handy. Pretty much only thing this set is missing is a plain AUX cable! I anticipate being able to get a lot out of using it in the future.
