Exchange PolicyThe product was fine until yesterday when the on and off switch stopped working. The microphone just slides back and forth and won’t connect how do I exchange for a new microphone purchased it in late Oct for a birthday gift. Just want to exchange or do I have a buy a new one?

Failed at funeral. Receiver battery cover bent?Update: I returned this because it failed at my wife’s graveside service. I tested it at home and it was quiet, but seemed to work okay. When I took it to the cemetery, nothing we could do would get it to work. I heard the pop as we turned the power on and off at the microphone, but no voice. Both (mic & receiver) the red lights were visible.There was an extra plastic piece rattling around inside the receiver…seems not to have broken off anything, but the battery cover doesn’t fit right. It’s easy to open – too easy. When unplugging it from the portable speaker box, the battery cover pulls off first. I’ll probably have to get some black tape to keep it together.Sound quality is good. I’m not doing anything professional with it, but can hear myself speaking through the amplifier. Price is great!

Not bad for a quick fix.Very handy little addition but the mic feels flimsy, more like a toy. I wouldn’t use it as a main mic, but as a backup.

You get what you paid for.First lets get this clear, we’re talking about a $21 mic. It is what it is. If you are a “professional” then you would know real quality doesn’t come cheap. I bought this mic to go with my portable JBL karaoke speaker as a second mic. Sound is not as good as the one that came with the system but it works and my family has fun. Its made of plastic and the receiving unit is kind of flimsy but if you are careful it its install and removal its no problem. I like the fact that it uses batteries in both the mic and receiver. There is no charging time if the receiver dies in the middle of a party. This is a beginners mic and should be described as such, it no way near professional quality. But come on it $20, did you really think you were getting something special? 3 stars overall, 4.5 stars for quality for the price. 2 stars sound quality.
