Polk 5’s Rock
Just got my new Polk a trim fives for my outdoor patio. I’m replacing Polk atrium fours that I’ve had for 10 years that I really liked. They just started to go bad recently replacing with the Polk fives. I can immediately hear the improvement in the sound quality, fullness and richness of the shine. Another wonderful benefit of getting the same brand specifically the poke fives is that the bracket although it is a little bigger, the screw holes are in the same exact location, so it was simply a matter of popping off the old bracket and popping in the new bracket in the exact same location. This made installation of snap try the poke fives you’ll really like them.

Polk never disappoints
This is my 3rd Polk purchase and I don’t think you can do any better for the $. Sound is great, but I’d like to have heard a bit better sound at low end. A minor concern for my outdoor deck/pool application. Plus, they look really good.

With a GOOD receiver, these are phenomenal
These speakers kick like hell, but you need a real amplifier otherwise they will sound small. I hooked these up to an old HK receiver and they are stunning. I have owned the 4, 5 and even the largest of these outdoor speakers and they have never disappointed. My oldest pair, well over ten years in use, are still kicking it and have been outside this whole time.A great investment for outdoor sound

Work real well paired via hardwire to out Fosi amp. Pool patio area never sounded better. 2 seasons so far.This is not sound you will hear at a Metallica concert in a football arena in Belgium.But it’s nice for outback around the bbq.Would buy again.

Good quality sound but …
I’m very happy with both the build quality and the sound of these speakers.They offer an nice general sound and surprisingly a nice amount of bass … but they need quite a powerful amplifier to deliver a good sound. I first tried these with kind of a cheaper all in one set and I was very disappointed but my opinion immediately changed after test driving the speakers on my vintage 2x80w Denon.

Turn up the treble a little these are mid heavy, working well outside and make the pool deck fun again! They get loud if you have the power!

East to install and these have great sound for the outdoors. Was skeptic sl at first, but sound is clear, balanced and loud.
