  1. Amazon Customer

    Great compact speakers.
Best thing I have done for my vinyl music setup.

  2. Howard A. Simmons

    These speakers are fantastic.
I took these speakers straight out of the box and hooked everything up without looking at the instructions. The Bluetooth was the easiest to set up. And as far as the hum that some people were talking about in the one star ratings I didn’t have that problem at all. Very pleased with these speakers.

  3. Joseph Lindsted

You probably shouldn’t spend money on these
I’ll be honest, 3 stars is probably a little generous because I returned these speakers the day after I bought them. The sound is pretty decent, and so are the treble and bass dials on the back, but the static, hissing noise that they emit when they’re just powered on is enough to annoy me and I just couldn’t bear it while trying to listen to music with them. There’s absolutely nothing you can do about this noise either. So, in my opinion, go spend $20 more on some speakers that actually sound decent.

    Speakers
WOW Speakers sound awesome the problem is they are use not new the box came damaged and no manual missing rca cables and remote doesn’t work but yet happy with them going to use on my turntable

  5. Dressler Family

White noise and non working remote
I bought these for myself to go with my Audio Technical turntable and now I wish I’d just waited and bought something better. My number one problem was the fact that the remote didn’t work at all. I tried the battery both ways, used a battery from another remote. Nada. I reached out to the customer service number listed on my Amazon order and explained that I couldn’t get the remote to work and could they help me? Their response was basically “No, return it through amazon.” I don’t want to return the speakers or get a refund, just wanted some troubleshooting on the remote or maybe get a new remote only. Not pack up the speakers I’ve just spent the last hour setting up and drive an hour away to the only UPS drop off location near me… Finally my husband gets the remote working just by holding the battery down with his thumb keeping constant pressure… Only realize the speakers emit a white noise roaring type noise constantly.Only positive is that the Bluetooth to your phone connected easily and works well.

    Expected More
Not loud at all. Expected more.. At least expected what was advertised. They do work and pair easily.

  7. Daniel

Great sounding when EQd, constant hum sound
Out the box, these needed some EQ adjustments using their knobs. They look great and sound great for the price, but mine have a constant static humming sound.

  8. Duck

    Arrived DOA
Returned and refund in progress. Was looking forward to using but didn’t work out as the unit was obiviously used and did not work. No sound, buzz, hum, nothing. Volume control just spun around and around.

  9. S.P.

Speakers emit a loud, constant hissing sound/white noise
UPDATE 2: I got a replacement pair of speakers and they sound just as bad as the first pair.UPDATE: Don’t buy these speakers. After owning these for almost 2 months…I have used them for a total of maybe 30 minutes because I can only handle the sound for maybe 5 minutes at a time. The static sound is awful. It doesn’t matter if they’re connected via bluetooth or with a cable or even if they aren’t connected it at all……just LOUD static all of them time. It doesn’t matter what volume the speakers are at….the static sound is louder than what you’re trying to listen to.Original review:If I don’t go within 10 feet of the speakers, they sound alright. Any closer than that and I have to listen to constant static…and it’s loud and super annoying. They look cool, bluetooth works well, controls on the back for bass, treble and volume and the sound is decent from far away. Don’t get them to use with your computer or in a small room.

Great for this price point, considering available signal input options
Despite the retro speaker bare wire connections (Was it a test to see whether I’d forgotten how to connect speakers using bare wire?), this is a nicely put together package. Is it good enough for party speakers? Yes and no. No, if you’re looking for a hip hop or rock, roof-raising sound pressure level (SPL) out of these. Yes, if you want music playing in one room of an apartment (e.g., through a computer speaker) while people are able to converse in the other. Are they acceptable as studio quality home monitors. In a pinch, for testing a final mix, but not for anything with great finesse. The latter is a perfectly good use case for bookshelf speakers.I didn’t hear hiss in the speakers tested, though I am used to hiss from my pro audio PA’s (this is how you know you’re “pro”). It wasn’t a deal breaker for my expectations at this price range. The bass performance is surprisingly good for speakers this small. And you can get more out this stereo pair by placing them on a table for additional amplification (and, of course, some unwanted coloration at times, as well as raising your neighbor annoyance quotient).I try to avoid using Bluetooth connections as a matter of principle (too flakey, often with unpredictable latency), but this implementation was acceptable.PRO-Tone controls that are useful-Multiple input options for legacy audio gear-Small size-Attractive enough to be displayedCON-30W won’t cut it for picky listeners who want to crank it to “Eleven”TIPThe volume knob rotates more than 360 degrees, a curiosity.
