Okay so this is my critical review of the 650w Froggy’s fog snow machine upon pulling this from the box I noticed immediately that it was almost double the size of the fog machines that I have purchased in the past it is entirely made out of plastic it has a carrying handle and a mount to mount it to a pole the remote for it is okay but it really needs a wireless remote especially if you’re putting it on top of a building like I did using this with the long-lasting Froggy’s fluid is totally amazing . On the box it says that it streams artificial snow up to 20 feet this is false this is actually a lot farther than 20 feet if using the Froggy’s flakes long lasting fluid mine travelled up to almost 40 feet which is double of what the box says it actually went into my neighbor’s yard most of it stayed within a 20-foot radius from the machine but it did travel a lot farther. see my video for further details you will never get a better effect then this. now this only has one setting this is I guess considered high output from the information that I read. this is foam this is not real snow and I have noticed that many people order the long-lasting fluid and the snow fluid I’m assuming that they probably mix these together however there are recipes online that will allow you to create your own snow fluid. This does consume quite a bit of fluid in a short amount Of time. I ran the machine on one full tank and it lasted approximately 8 1/2 minutes however this is with the long lasting fluid on high output. the other fluid May last longer as far as fluid consumption. however, as far as the snow flocking the trees and staying on the ground the long-lasting Froggy’s flakes fluid is the best I’ve seen yet , the machine has and on off switch on the back of it and a remote on off switch if you leave the remote in the on position you can use a wireless electrical outlet remote basically meaning you can use a smart outlet . It says right on the package that it works best with Froggy’s fog fluids I am not going to confirm nor deny this as I purchased the Froggy’s flakes long-lasting fluid and the results speak for themselves on the video this machine is rather loud. I would say almost the equivalent of a small shop vac starting up maybe a little bit less this is very lightweight and has a 1 liter tank capacity which in my opinion may be a little bit too small for the size of the unit none the less there are ways to add a larger tank to it. It does have for an optional purchase accessory the FFM – TC which is a timer and the FFM – WR wireless remote as I only have the wired remote right now I cannot speak for either of these I will be purchasing them to test out the entire functionality. Please watch the video as I cannot begin to explain the amount and quality of snow that this machine puts out. After leaving the machine off for almost an hour and the temperature outside being 64 degrees there was still a lot of snow left on the ground I am thoroughly impressed with this……. Upon further review of this product after approximately two weeks of use I have noticed that despite any snow juice used the flake size remains large this being said if you are looking for a light drizzle of snow you may wish to purchase a different product this is great for flocking as it lasts almost 15 hours on the ground and on the trees a higher powered air pump might have been a better idea to use considering the one they have cost less than $10 retail. Some of the additional precautions that I took because of using this outside was to wire a replaceable fuse in line with the fluid pump and the air pump in case of any type of failure on either part it will not burn up the entire fixture I also added a rheostat to control the flake size. And will be integrating a simple timer circuit at a later date. This is a quite loud unit that being said I would suggest doing some sound dampening activities such as creating a soundproofed box to house this unit in as it will drop the noise level approximately 3 to 5 decibels if made correctly maybe more depending on sound dampening materials used. Any type of soundproofing material and MDF would make a great housing for it however you would be faced with a challenge of sealing the MDF from the outside elements as MDF is nothing more than highly compressed fiberboard and will get completely destroyed if left open to the weather. Make 100% sure you are using a ul-listed extension cord with a ground outlet GFCI outdoor plug is highly recommended for use with this product as it will prevent electrical short and or fires.As I have been waiting for several weeks now remotes you become available they are not becoming available and have been on backorder for approximately a month and a half now with no restock date in sight as this is unacceptable for me to void the warranty and make my own remote and timer circuit for it. If you have electronic experience this is very easy to do if you don’t do not attempt it you will only damage the device and or electrocute yourself. I am reducing the current rating from five stars to four stars because the remotes are unavailable have been available.

We bought one and loved it so much we bought 3 more! Well worth the investment and does the job right! Best addition to our hometown christmas event! The noise level is not bad when it is up in a building. It is loud, but music will drown it out. The wireless remote turned all of the machines on at the same time like magic! One full tank lasts about 25-30 minutes on almost full blast.

Totally cool foam party ‘snow’
There is a remote with a long lead. Totally easy to use. Made my own snow juice, 100ml rubbing alcohol, 75ml bubble bath, and one gallon distilled water. The tank holds 1/3 of the gallon, tank last about ten minute. It’s loud. But for the price it’s worth it. I have it four stars because yes it’s loud and needs a bigger tank. But overall it’s totally fun!

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I cant say enough great things about this snow machine!!!!! Aside from it sounding like an old school vacuum this made all my NO SNOW Los Angeles dreams come true! The Snow this machine produces are small bubbles. I work with kids and brought this to the office for the holidays!!! It was a hit, they didn’t even seem to notice the noise. I jug of snow juice lasted me the entire month of Dec, I was only running it for 5 mins at a time but several times a day. This is one of my all time favorite purchases. I can have the snow whenever I want. There is no mess, it was used only indoor with carpet. Im not sure what residue might be left if the floor was tile or wood. The snow flakes ranges in size from small to large. The sock was easy to clean, the only thing i wish this had was a dial to pick the amount of snow that comes out and of course I wish it was silent. For the price I really cant complain, this did more than expected. The look of pure joy on the kids and parents faces was worth every penny.

Loud but awesome!
This thing does sound like a small shop vac but the results are wonderful and near instantaneous. I set it up high so that the sounds not really that big of an issue and makes the flakes fly more realistically anyway. Invest in the wireless remote that they offer. Its well worth the price and makes it a lot easier to turn the thing off when the crowds under it start getting a little deep. People will literally spin around under this for hours apparently. At least here in the south where snow with no accumulation will clear the grocery shelves and send us all into a blind panic. it will look like it is starting to accumulate on bushes and cars but evaporates pretty quickly so no real depth. Haven’t noticed any staining. When you are right on it, you can tell its bubble foam, but from a reasonable distance it just floats around like fluffy snow. I took the picture at the edge of the storm so you can see that this would benefit from a little height and maybe a fan to get the flakes really swirling.

It says it’s a snow flake machine. For the price it was to good to be true. So still got it. Come to find out it’s more of a bubble machine that produces like snow flakes. Still used it because in pictures does look like snow fall but it’s bubbles like from a bath. In the end get a real snow machine if you want real snow, not a bubble party

I decided to test this out for myself, despite the reviews. I can confirm:1. From the first minute, the device gives off something that causes immediate respiratory distress. How this is even available to be purchased during a pandemic is beyond me.2. I call out #1 because so many of the formulas are made for “indoor use” — if you use this machine indoors, immediate and severe adverse effects may be experienced. This machine is a health risk if used indoors, and given it is marketed as an “indoor use” machine, consider yourself warned.3. It’s just bubbles. It’s just a bubble machine with a big blower through a sock that makes zillions of teensy bubbles instead of a few regular-sized ones. The formula doesn’t do anything but add tensile strength — you could do the same with Dawn dishwashing fluid, and not be potentially rushed to the hospital because you can’t breathe. I’m guessing the company doesn’t share the ingredients because their various formulas are all the same, but that is purely my speculation.4. I do not know if it is the machine, the formula, or a combination of the two, but the “exhaust” of this machine is unsafe for human use given there is no way to know what is being spewed into your home, yet it has immediate detrimental reactions, as several reviews have pointed out.5. Stay safe, everyone. Don’t use this as a replacement for being able to go sledding at the park.

Great investment- get Froggys if you’re considering a fake snow machine
If you’re considering a fake snow machine, buy this one! It’s been an amazing value for the money. We purchased this for my sons 5th birthday party and ended up using it every day of our California winter. We permanently mounted it on our porch and put the button where the kids could reach which is just added fun when they can control the snow coming on and off. Froggys machine and liquid delivered exactly what they promised- this machine will give you a blizzard like effect and the reach is great. I didn’t expect it to be as great of a product as it turned out to be. It’s been 2 months so far and the kids are not getting sick of it yet.

I was a little concerned about some of the reviews I read regarding the snow machines.. but this one worked great. Used it indoors for a children’s event, was a bit loud but like others said, no louder than a vacuum. The power cord could be longer, but that is not enough to really complain about.It threw the snow (bubbles) about 10-15 feet and since I had to hold it and point it upwards to shoot over the crowd, it didn’t do a bad job. I think if you were to mount it and point it up a little bit you would get a great spread. Actually thinking about buy another one since this worked really well. I did purchase the their solution. So far I have only used about half a tank of fluid, so I don’t know how well it holds up. But so far, a real hit with the kids.
