Description
Features :
General protection: each output has independent PTC fuse and LED indicator, when problem occurs, only affect the independent output, other outputs still working.
Circuit short protection: when short condition occurs, independent PTC fuse will open the circuit, when condition removed, PTC fuse will automatically back to close.
High voltage protection: when high voltage occurs, the surge protection will be hit through to protect the connected device.
Over Current protection: when over current occurs, the power supply will automatically switch to self-protection status, when condition removed, then switch back to normal.
Application : CCTV Camera, PTZ, IR Illuminator, Video Processor, Access Control , etc.

Came with everything needed
Easy to follow instructions pretty self-explanatory well planned out

Awesome replacement
Had a minor concern if it would power all 9 cameras safely, as the unit it’s replacing had twice the amps. But by calculations it should have been just enough. And after a couple months, still working great.Thank you!

Good Quality
Installed it for a camera system needing 12VDC. Worked well. I’ve used a lot of different brands of camera power supplies over the years, the general feel of this unit is good quality.

not really good part
not really like it

This thing is great!
I was wrestling a 900 lb. coal boiler down my narrow vintage stairway to the basement, and tore one of our CCTV camera wires in half, shorting the power supply straight to ground, taking down our entire system. This burned out the small, 12 year old power supply unit the camera system came with. While this Eversecu unit is quite a bit larger and more involved to install, this setup would’ve prevented the short circuit damage from happening with its self-resetting circuit breakers (the tan devices above the red LEDs in 3rd pic). You’ll get a flicker in the other cameras for a second or 2 until the breaker opens, but that’s it. They do get very hot when shorted, as an FYI. That said, not sure how many times you can have a short before the breaker fails. I don’t want to get that deep into testing. Replacement is pretty straightforward if you have a soldering iron and can solder / desolder electronic components. These are like 1970’s components – nice, big, and easy to replace. Someone with a little electronics knowhow could build one of these very easily. It’s not a very high-tech system, which is great. These days high tech means high failure rate.Time will tell of its longevity. We’re only 1 month in so far, so that’s not a real good indicator of quality. The price was very right at the time (under $40 shipped), and the cameras are all back up and running. The great thing about this unit is, if one camera shorts out, just that one camera will go down – not ALL 8 or 9 cameras (although they’ll go out momentarily as mentioned earlier, but come right back on.).Installation is a piece of cake – buy a set of pigtails, and wire positive to positive, and negative to negative (see 3rd pic). I had to go through an label each power supply to each camera, so that in the event of a fault, I would be able to easily identify the camera wiring I need to focus on. Took about a half hour to get it all wired in and running. Some twin screw wire clamps will be needed as well – see 2nd pic.

Seems to work reliably
Functions flawlessly. Wish it had less LED lights on the inside, but it works.

Works great
The product arrived on time and in good shape. It was a breeze to install and hook my security cameras to. I was so impressed by the quality I bought a smaller second one for another project.

Great way to eliminate all those plugpacks
All seems to be working very well so far. It is so much neater than having all those plugpacks for cameras, etc in a powerboard. I am hoping this will also minimise fire risk if any of those had gone faulty at some stage. This supply allowed me to replace individual plugpacks for all my CCTV cameras, the DVR and also for 2 network storage drives. The one crucial factor that decided me on this particular supply was the plastic cover over the mains input connector strip – photos of other brands seemed to indicate this had not been done, making it so easy to accidentally touch bare screws at mains power levels. The only negative thing I have to say about this supply is the brightness of the LED indicators. The internal LEDs are almost blinding, making it difficult to see screw terminals when adding further connections unless you power off the 12v to everything. The external LEDs are also extremely bright – it is a lighthouse attracting attention to the location of the central power supply for a security component. Considering this item is only meant to be used indoors, I cannot see a need for such bright indicators.

Nice design
This power supply has some nice features: ON/OFF switch is inside the case, it comes with a lock and two keys, it has two separate LED status lights on the outside of the case that light up if it is receiving line power and also if the interior power switch is ON. The build is as good or better than all the generic power supplies I have used in the last 20 years (Altronix is THE best but could benefit from some of these features).
