Building on the multi award winning D-M40, the new D-M41 features improved sound, style and facilities. The newly developed discrete analogue amplifier circuit reduces signal paths for greater clarity and impact, while the new Bluetooth implementation combines convenience with an off switch to reduce its influence on the sound of other sources when not in use. Meanwhile the new cosmetic design echoes that of Denon flagship ‘designed’ separates. The RCD-M41 center unit also has two digital optical inputs to hook up a TV, set top box or other digital gear that deserves improved audio quality, and has built in CD plus FM/AM radio, with the new SC-M41 speaker system to complement the CD receiver’s performance.

Great Shelf Stereo
This Denon shelf stereo is a great little unit. If you’ve ever set up a stereo before you will find this one very easy to set up. Nice quality appearance, convenient size, good price, and great sound. Using the bluetooth connection is as easy as choosing “bluetooth” for the source, then going to your smartphone and choosing the “Denon” from your settings/devices menu. I was streaming music and XM radio from my phone in no time flat. Music played on the CD player sounds really clean and crisp. Very good rich sound, nice deep base for a unit this size. Very happy with this unit so far.

La calidad de los materiales y el ensamble recuerda la de los equipos de alta fidelidad de los años 80 y 90 cuando la gente gastaba su dinero en componentes de audio. Carcasa de metal, botones de buena calidad, suena el click de un relevador cuando enciende y apaga. Sonido de buena calidad para un equipo de su tamaño. Excelente opción para escuchar Apple Music desde el celular, para oír la música de streaming como siempre la debimos haber oído, esterofónicamente, con mayor rango. Suficiente para un departamento. El único detalle control remoto es innecesariamente grande. Vale la pena para enriquecer la experiencia cotidiana de audio.

Matches my expensive system
I already have a home theater with $10k+ worth of audio equipment, bought this little set for our living room, paired with a small sub and TV. Oh this system sounds good. Lately I have been listening to this system more so than my $$$$ sound system, and I have picky ears.

What a sound!
I am a 51 years old music lover who wanted to get something close to what I grew up with back than, namely a decent (possibly A/B type) amp with a decent enough power (back in that time was a 70 Watts/speaker) output for a medium sized room in my house. Plus the “wife acceptance factor” had to be calculated into the deal since I knew that beforehand that I was not gonna be able to place a full size (nor did I really want to) system for thousands of dollars and a tall, space demanding floor standing speakers anywhere in the living room. We have the space but…..okay, I was about to downscale my dreams of having something small but still pristine/stellar sounding. Even though I have found so many great and well priced amps and bookshelf speakers on the market from all directions of the world that could have made a close to perfect match in heaven for my needs, I decided to give a chance to this little beauty after a long debating with myself. The debate was all about the size and not at all about the brand (Denon is still undeniably one of the top consumer amp makers….) because I was concerned about the size of the speakers. Okay, 30 watts per channel is a good enough output, I really did not need anything over that level of loudness. But will it sound full and clear with the small pair of speakers it comes with??Yes, it is good enough!!!! Clear and lush! Sounds so lively and distortion free even at a really high volume that is just stunning. It is a system for anybody who wants to have a stellar sounding unit while saving a lot of space and an equally great amount of money. Some people switch the speakers out for a bigger bookshelf or standing speakers with all the success. I think I’m gonna stick to the original speaker pair but in the future I will add a smallish subwoofer to the sound just to have that extra bass oomph to torture my family with. Honestly, when I listen to electronic music (I listen to anything and everything) , most of the time I don’t feel the need for any extra bass because those really deep base of the songs from this genre of music doesn’t cry for anything else on top of the bass reflex boxes can produce. But when it comes to a little bit less bass accented mixing of some of the older records now that’s when I feel like a little extra lower frequencies would not hurt the sound as a whole. It is an incredible value for this very well made and stellar sounding Mini System!!! Highly, highly recommended!

Cuando ví la caja en la q venia me decepcionó, pero al abrirla o sorpresa….Fueron muchos días de espera pero llegó antes del día esperado.Soy fan de la marca onkyo y hay mucha diferencia entre denon, el sonido se oye bien nada comparado con mi marca d cajón, alguien comento que es d la vieja escuela y así es. sencillo de operar buen volumen solo hay q ajustarlo x q tiene un boom no muy agradable el dimer es perfecto para mi x q puedo dejarlo completamente obscuroProbé algunos discos y es espectacular no le di mucho a los altavoces pero suenan bien, probaré con mis discos de Queen y mi colección de jazz y blues.Quiero agradecer a todo el equipo de logística, a todos gracias llegó bien y creo que valió la pena el gasto un abrazo a todos de verdad a los q están atrás de toda esta máquina llamada Amazon y al vendedor.El equipo está genial no m gustaron mucho las bocinas creo q les faltó más pero voy a probar mi hijo se emocionó mucho al oírlo y para mí eso es garantía,El equipo está muy bien y hecho para durar. veremos q tal, 5 estrellas a todos queda en Cuernavaca, Morelos.

Great little unit. Wish it had Bluetooth for headphones.
Replaced a 20 year old Denon mini amp/CD player after the CD changer finally died. Small, compact with all the right features save one. You can’t use Bluetooth headphones with this unit as the Bluetooth functionality only goes one way. Linking to my iPhone and laptop was a breeze. I didn’t use the speakers that came with it as my Mission mini speakers are still amazing. This unit gets only 4 stars because of the Bluetooth issue. Cmon Denon, even my cheap little DVD player allows use of Bluetooth headphones. Get with the program.

Not going to go far into this…..Bass galore…
I bought this for our master bedroom, because the sound-bar/subwoofer set up we had just wasn’t to my liking.I’ve toyed with, collected, installed, etc. countless low end and high end systems. So, this was not someone who didn’t know what they were purchasing.I also purchased a powered subwoofer which, in hindsight wasn’t really necessary, even for a large bedroom. The speakers provide a very surprising amount of bass. Seriously. I was REALLY caught off guard by it. I would strongly advise NOT getting one (if you had already planned to get one) until you hear it without.I stream through it via Bluetooth, and my TV is run in via one of the opticals. I recently took the plunge, and purchased a turntable, so I could collect old records. Being that this receiver doesn’t have a dedicated phono input, I purchased a phono pre-amp, and it’s absolutely wonderful.The only con(s) I’d list pertain to the remote. They went WAY overboard on it. They could have removed a lot of useless functions and put something like the tone controls on the remote, instead of one button on the remote and having to follow the very small screen on the receiver.Oh……They don’t provide very much speaker wire. So, if you have to route it through ports to conceal, or whatever, make sure you have some on hand.

Pequeno, robusto e maravilhoso
Procurava um aparelho que me trouxesse algo que lembrasse a qualidade de equipamento de som que eu tinha nos anos 80. Eu tinha um system 95 da gradiente. Este system da denon simplesmente me encantou, pois os instrumentos musicais ficam bem pronunciados e não há distorções ao aumentar o volume. Conectei meu toca discos ao denon e agora tenho enorme prazer em ouvir meus discos de vinil e cds. Altamente recomendável este system da denon, impressionante como, mesmo sendo de porte pequeno, apresente tanta qualidade sonora.

Very nice mini HiFi with great sound
I have Panasonic SC-PMX9 and decided to get this one too, because of quality and ability to add subwoofer. Overall sound is good, but not soo much better than SC-PMX9. Denon has a bit more bass and plays CDs better than Panasonic, but later has better dynamic range at higher volume. The sound fills nice size room and with small subwoofer it should sound much better. Quality is great, controls are sturdy and build quality is incredible. Very easy to use and operate.Pros: Compact Size, Quality of materials, sound, value.Cons: Sound distortion at higher volume limits, no USB portI definitely recommend this for mini HiFi lovers. It really makes much bigger sound than it is, but you have to move speakers away about 5 feet to sound good and place against the wall, so you get deeper bass.
