Good for the price
Needed a set of 2 wireless mics with a next to nothing budget, and next to nothing time frame to get them for a gig. Found these and decided to give them a shot. For the price, they really are not bad. Sound quality is better than expected, however signal does get lost just the tiniest bit off axis. Range is about 60 feet in a crowded room before signal begins to drop off too. However, that usually isn’t a problem, it’s just something I tested. The microphones last 2 gigs, rotating (and turning off) the mics between singers every song, plus a tiny fraction of a 3rd gig. That being said, in my experience a pair of AA batteries will give you between 4-4.5 hours of continuous use. The main problem with the mics, and receiver is build quality. Cheap plastic, so keep them protected. Also, because of this fact, the microphones are noisy. A singer passing it from one hand to the other will be heard. I expected this though. Karaoke gigs, this isn’t a big deal. I wouldn’t use these for church (unless always on a mic stand), or “important” sound reproduction.All in all, these mics delivered a better sound than I was expecting, a little bit lower battery life than I expected, and an equal build quality to what I expected. Price being a factor, I would fully recommend these mics for someone needing a set in a crunch…. just upgrade when you get the means to do so
